After driving past the cane fields for weeks it was great to spend a night camped out amongst them, with stunning views of the ranges. Friendly, efficient and spacious. If you time your stay right you might be there for burger night - a treat to take a night off cooking!

We enjoyed the serenity in such a beautiful location, that enabled us to get a peaceful nights sleep. The whole area is immaculately maintained and amenities pristine. The hosts are super welcoming and openly share their experiences with guests. We arrived as travelers but left as friends. Looking forward to returning one day. Our stay at oh deer farm stay was fantastic. It was easy to fine with great signage. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, sharing lots of knowledge about the area & their farm. Would highly recommend.

This location is special. There is ample space on the campsite, electric and water hookup, toilets, and showers. There is a communal kitchen and a fire is lit every night, conditions permitting. The farm itself is great, and you can do tours if you like. The hosts are amazing and promote a friendly, community experience!

We loved camping at Karinda and Ando’s farm stay. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful from the minute we arrived. The campsites were tidy and well maintained. The toilets and showers were clean and easily accessible. The farm stay was easy to find and there was plenty to do whilst we were there. It is also a hop skip and a jump from Cape Hillsborough and a leisurely drive to Eungella National Park and dam. The perfect spot to enjoy all the area has to offer. And the campfire chats at night were a nice way to unwind after a busy or relaxing day!

Kayaking available on private dam which was a hit for our small girls.
Great place to stop with dog if going to visit Cape Hillsborough National Park.

We had an amazing stay at Karinda & Ando’s (Dale’s) beautiful property! The location was incredibly convenient, making it an ideal stop during our travels. The grounds and facilities were pristine and well-maintained, showcasing the care they put into creating a welcoming space.
What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the hosts. Sitting by the fire with Karinda, sharing drinks and friendly conversation, was such a highlight. Her kindness and genuine interest made us feel right at home.
If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with fantastic amenities and incredible hosts, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

This place is a MUST visit. Karinda and her team were all extremely welcoming of me and my young family. She’s got a heart of gold and provided many laughs and good times. The place is stunning with the sunset swing, kayak fishing and drinks the highlight. Thanks to Karinda and the Tassie mob for making these South Aussies so happy, it truly felt like a home away from home.

Great spot to relax and chill out. Plenty of space and clean facilities with hot showers. Camp kitchen if you require. Fantastic hosts - very friendly and great to chat to. We are local to area so did not do the tour as already know about cane farms but husband did the visit to the ‘Love Shack’ and said it was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Great spot for a night or two to explore inland or the coast. The most spectacular sunset we have ever seen. Would have loved to do the cane farm tour, but the owners were away so maybe next time 😁

All facilities clean, did not take the opportunity to experience the other offerings cold wind kept us in the van

We enjoyed our stay at Oh Deere we had water & power and nice green grass sites.
There are flushing toilets, showers, washing machines & a dryer.
The camp area is very neat and tidy and a play area for the kids.
The property tour is very informative we learnt a lot about the Cane farm and I loved the swing overlooking the dam - very picturesque looking to the mountains.

We spent a night at Karinda&Ando. Karinda is very nice, welcoming and caring. She gave us tips for the rest of our trip. The showers, toilets and kitchen are very clean. The setting is beautiful in the cane fields with the sunset. I would have liked to stay longer. Thanks for your kindness.

The area for camping was lovely grassy. Amenities spotless. The tour was very interesting and well worth it.

Karinda and Dale were so lovely. They treat everyone like a second family. We went out to dinner with the majority of the camp, shared stories by the fire and went on the sugar cane tour. Such a cool stop!

In general we had a great experience! Amenities were super clean and the view on the sugar cane fields with the mountains in the background was nice as well. However, we had some trouble with the noise of the highway and trains coming by at night. If you aren't a light sleeper, no worries, this won't affect you, but if you are, it is acoustically noticeable. Other than that we just noticed the advertisement for their offerings beside camping close to the amenities, which made us realize this was a much more well organized site than to what we had been to before. However, we can still recommend this camping area, it just wasn't our favorite one.

Very welcoming and a great set up. The day tour of the farm was well worth doing and the sunset tour topped off the day perfectly. Karinda and Dale work hard and still find time to be the best hosts for all their guests. Loved learning all about the sugar cane industry.
