LeJackz has a quiet forest feeling and is secluded. LeJackz runs stud Bazadais cattle on the property. There is a natural spring and rock pools in Elva's creek, but is not running at the moment. At Le Jackz you come to relax and unwind and allow nature to be your therapist. The property is located near Maclagan, a small town situated at the foothills of Bunya Mountains National Park. The majestic Bunya Mountains were formed 30 million years ago and thought to be the remains of an old volcano. The national park features both wet and dry rainforests, grasslands and open bush supporting a diverse range of plant and animal species.  From December to March, Bunya pine trees drop cones containing edible seeds known as Bunya nuts. For those keen to do a bit of site-seeing, there is an abundance of nature walks, cycling, historical tours in Toowoomba and Dalby. NOTE: dry weather access only. Plan B can be Quinalow caravan park if need be.

Nestled beside a massive Moreton Bay fig tree, whilst kicking back at your camp site you could see wallabies, echidnas, bush turkeys and more wildlife passing by. There is another site across the track 'Old Oak Tree', so if you want to make your experience extra private you can book out both sites, provided it hasn't been booked out prior. You may expect a visit from our resident Mareema dogs and Kelpie as they scout the property for predators. They are friendly with Campers. Old Oak Tree is in a little nook of the bush. Absolutely stunning with birds and animals passing by. There is alot of room so there is no cramming into a campsite. There is also a thunder box available. There is another site across the track 'Old Fig Tree', so if you want to make your experience extra private you can book out both sites, provided it hasn't been booked out prior. Travelling through, Soooo amazing were the owners and very welcoming, way off the road and piece and quite. The dogs “Major and Sarge” especially were the highlight…. beautiful nature both of them. The amenities, excellent 👍👍 thanx for the short notice on arrival

Lovely quiet site, great facilities, friendly dogs and cattle. Just great. Can definitely recommend, although given how heavily it is booked, you would be advised to book both sites if you want absolute quiet. A terrific site, and a real credit to the hosts.

Had a great couple of days under the old Oak tree, very secluded and peaceful, everything was as described. The local Italian sheep dogs kept us safe the whole time. Sarge and Major were amazing and we felt blessed having them with us…….highly recommended this Hipcamp.

Absolutely loved it here!! Beautiful quiet spot; nice warm shower, clean toilet and a sink to do your dishes. We were honoured with a visit from one of the lovely farm dogs.

This place is beautiful!. The owner's are lovely people and their gorgeous dog serge is a beautiful well behaved companion. There's so much to explore. This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including the kitchen sink to wash your dishes. And if you need fire wood, Kahn will help you out! This was a memorable camping trip, my kids and i didnt want to leave! We definitely plan on returning.

The site was beautiful for camping/swag but plenty of space at both sites for a solarcaravan. (IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE ACTUAL SITE, READ FULL) The big Fig Trees are definitely the highlight next to the fire, stars looked so amazing. Directions we found hard to locate the correct gates, the signs are about 15cmx40cm. We let the owners know maybe some larger orange ones would be better. Owners are very friendly, both hubby and wifey. Lots of cow paddies to get to the site, some rough roots n rocks. Camp grounds has a few small remaining poop pellets. Facilities onsite- its two shelters, one is a steel kitchen sink with running rain water (solar powered). BYO eco friendly soap and sponge. Second shelter is half completed, with solid tin walls and concrete floor, for the toilet/shower. There is a portable camp toilet that the owners change around lunch time each day, and little tin shelf. Shower is adjacent, drain in floor no shower curtain, door is very sturdy and has an inside lock function. Only half of this shelter has been constructed, I Hope the owners get the next shower toilet in soon, to support the two sites poop ratio. Near the two shelters is a gate ‘Rock Pools’ signed gate that takes you up hill (jumping Jack nest) but once you get to the open field, another gorgeous view of the mountain. Easy collections of firewood off the land with chainsaw if you get permission. Rock pools need some rain to be swimable.

3rd year in a row for staying here and we love it. The kids love the the nature, hills, animals and the drive out is interesting. We typically stay a few nights and visit the bunya mountains from here. The hosts are genuinely nice people, and our kids love to play with their beautiful dogs.

Well-appointed campsite, remote enough to disconnect but not too far from town if you need anything and the Bunya Mountains for some great hiking. Although the hot water didn't work in the shower the first night, after a battery replacement it was a much-appreciated comfort for the cold nights. We loved the company of the dogs around the campfire.

Great location to relax and take time to reset. the camping area was perfect for our tent. Toilet and shower clean. The dogs were so friendly but not in your face and obedient. Cattle were amusing, especially when you are positioned in their path. Easy driving distance to the Bunya Mountains.

My husband, our Jack Russel and I stayed for 2 nights at the Fig Tree site. I haven’t never stayed at such a more beautiful place. It was quiet, the weather divine and I just loved being visited by the 3 gorgeous dogs. The hot shower was such a lovely way to end the day before getting the fire going and enjoying a beverage or 2. Could not recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Great hosts too offering fire wood bundles for purchase and they were quick to respond to any queries .

We had the most incredible time camping at this site! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. Our campsite was spacious and private, with a great fire pit and picnic table. The facilities were great—hot showers, clean restrooms, and easy access to potable water. Kahn was super friendly and helpful, and so were Major and Sarge (the dogs). We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere at night, with nothing but the sounds of nature and a sky full of stars. Whether you’re a first-time camper or a seasoned adventurer, this spot is a gem. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Lovely spot- close to Bunya Mountains and lots to see around the district. Nice, peaceful campsite- great for just switching off. Lovely vistas with camels and cows meandering by. Loved the dogs too !

Amazing place!!! Two beautiful dogs were waiting at the gate for us to arrive and lead the way to our campsite. Plenty of space, hot shower, a toilet and fire wood if you need some. Can highly recommend and will definitely come back!!!

It's a very clean grassy level site with good shade and very basic amenities. Our 15ft hybrid van would be the maximum size van to access the site due to a narrow awkward angled gateway. The road into the property would be a problem after rain.

We stayed here for 2 nights and this campsite is really good for large groups. We had the whole place to ourselves and it was a much needed get away. The owners have 3 dogs (2 meremas and a Keplie) that comes to say hello and if your lucky stay around to provide you with some company. Be mindful that there is no reception so bring some books or board games to keep you busy. Otherwise you can wonder around the campsite to visit the cattle yard, see some camels or visit the rock pools. Unfortunately for us the rockpools seemed a bit bare due to lack of rain. The showers were really handy after a big day of camping.
