We have 55 acres of paddocks plus dams 10 minutes from Rockhampton City. We are 1 km from the Fitzroy River with boat access and fishing. A lovely, quiet spot with amazing sunsets. We've just opened a new toilet and shower block providing a relaxing space to wash off the dust after a day on the road. There is plenty to do in the area from fishing, cycling and rowing to relaxing with a book beside your own campfire (available depending on fire season/fire risk and in discussion with host). Horses, dogs and chickens reside here. Fresh farm eggs available.

Pitch your tent or park your caravan/RV in a picturesque location that is within 12 minutes of Rockhampton City. It is 1 km from the Fitzroy River where you can access the river from the boat-ramp, for boating, fishing and water-skiing. There is plenty to see and do in the area from the Botanic Gardens and Zoo, The Capricorn Caves and the Showgrounds. A day trip to Keppel Island is easy to do and recommended. There is plenty of space and campers can choose their spot within the lawn area.

We had a really nice time at Laurel Bank! It was our first time camping at an australian farm and it was just as beautiful as we imagined! We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunset, the calm atmosphere and the very warm welcome of Jo, Dave and the lovely dogs! If we ever get back to this part of Australia, we certainly come back here again!

Really lovely spot, stunning view of the sunset and there were beautiful birds flying around the camp. The showers were a god send, really nice and just what was needed after the drive!! The directions to the camp are spot on and the welcome and tour around was really appreciated (Poppy the dog was so so cute!)

Such a lovely site, Jo and Dave are very friendly and helpful, the dogs are absolutely the star of the show though. The site is peaceful and immaculate, and the amenities block is perfect. Very country homes style. If I wasn’t on a whistle stop tour I would definitely stay for longer.

I recently stayed at Jo & Dave’s campsite, and it was absolutely fantastic! The location is beautiful and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing night. All the amenities were neat, clean, and well maintained. Jo & Dave were wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great camping experience! 🌿🔥⛺

We loved the warm greeting when we arrived! Dave was very welcoming and took the time to show us around. There’s plenty of space between campers, and the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed watching the sunset and the clear night skies. The amenities are spotless, and the whole place just makes you feel relaxed. Highly recommend! Loved having the dogs come and say hi.

The best of both worlds! A short drive out of town and you’ll be on a farm stay that feels entirely out of the way. You’ll likely have plenty of space with limited other campers, the showers and bathrooms have had loads of love and care poured into them to make your stay super comfortable, and your hosts are a fine blend of welcoming, chatty and friendly.

The quiet solitude made it so peaceful, I was greeted by the host and their little doggos, Very friendly. On sunset I visited the paddocks and patted the horses. A lovely ammenities block made the trip very easy.

Loved this camp. Everything has been so well thought out. Jo and Dave were really friendly and it was lovely to have a puce of their paradise for the week. Ammenities were clean and well thought out. Perfect for our visit to Rocky.

The campsite was super clean and tidy. Dave gave us a warm welcome and helped us with the connection of our van. The bathrooms were designed and built with a lot of love by Dave and his family. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Nice grassed paddock and really good toilet and shower facilities. Shaded undercover seating area available for use. Friendly owner who greeted us on arrival and a lovely small dog who likes to say hello!

Plenty of flat ground - lots of space - close enough to Rocky to go in for dinner but far enough away to get a good nights sleep! Lovely bathrooms. Friendly hosts. Funny and friendly dogs - great for some paw hugs!!

It was quiet but still within a reasonable distance to Rockhampton & Yeppoon. The facilities were very good & there is power available at a couple of the other sites that are available.
