64 Hectares surrounded by National Park. *There are no showers but there is a compost toilet available.* A perfect spot to stay over for the Mt. Maroon climb. The local area has a tourism focus with plenty of opportunities to explore the Scenic Rim. Lake Moogara and Maroon Dam are not far away for jet skis, kayaking and swimming. If you are not up for Mt Maroon climb which could take up to 3 hours each way, there are always walks around the area that are less challenging. We are family friendly with easy terrain to set up for first time campers. Wake up to beautiful views and serenity. Sorry, no dogs are allowed as we have koalas and we are surrounded by National Parks Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Check on the day, it is usually fine to cook with contained cookers during a fire ban. BYO gas BBQ. Please note that there are no showers or potable (drinkable) water on our property, you will need to bring your own. Bring what you need and take it away. Leave no trace.

Camping with epic view of Mt.Maroon
Amazing private spot with stunning view! Me and kids absolutely loved it. The metal plate on the fire place was super helpful. Loved being super close to the start of Mt. Maroon summit track. At night there was wallabies to see everywhere 🙂.

Awesome basecamp for Mt Maroon hike
If you are looking for the perfect basecamp for the Mt Maroon hike, this is it!! An awesome spot to set up and then hike Mt Maroon straight from your camp, with no need to fight for a spot in the carpark. The free fire wood is just an added bonus! The views are amazing too.

Breathtaking views from your tent!
Stunning spot to camp for the weekend. Nice spacious camping areas, fire pits ready to go and the views are breathtaking. Very handy location right near the entrance to the Mt Maroon summit track.

Fantastic Camping site!
This is a great place to camp, and Wendy is an amazing host! The views are fantastic, and it's super convenient to the Maroon Mountain track. I'll definitely be back to book the group site.
