Set across rolling paddocks, shaded creek lines, and pockets of bushland, Kalimna is perfect for campers who value space, quiet, and a genuine country experience. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, with family, or as part of a club or group, you’ll enjoy the freedom to relax without feeling crowded or overlooked. Wake to birdsong and fresh country air, then spend your days exactly as you please — relax at your campsite, wander the property, or simply soak up the peace and space. When you feel like exploring, Noosa beaches, Imbil, Kenilworth, Pomona, and Borumba Dam are all within easy reach. Return in the evening to a campfire under the stars, while kangaroos and abundant wildlife move quietly across the property. Each site has loads of room so no one is camped close to you. There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. Easy access for all vehicles. CANT GET OVER THIS CAMP SITE! Most welcoming hosts and the most beautiful view only 20 minutes away from Kenilworth and so close to a local pub - will be back again and recommended to my family - cutest cows as well

Just spent 2 glorious weeks at Kalimna. We did a couple of the walks and the views are breathtaking. We have patted the horses and watched the cows and calves in the paddock. We hung a hammock in the trees and spent many hours in the shade reading and enjoying the sounds of nature. Truely spectacular place to stay. Darren and Simone are the perfect hosts - happy to help or chat if you want to or they will leave you to just enjoy the quiet if that’s what you come here for. I have not felt this relaxed and happy for many years.

Darren was exceptionally welcoming, down to earth, and just a good bloke all round, up for a chat and happy to talk about the land and livestock. I felt safe on the hosts land as a solo camper and can’t wait to make this one of my regular pit stops and stay longer next time for a relaxing getaway. Conveniently located just off the highway. The free ranging horses and cattle are a treat and will walk right past your camp through the bush at night, so don’t be alarmed- they kept a respectful distance. 2wd accessible, and lots of shade to choose from with lots of set ups accommodated. A good, safe, fair priced camp (the shared sites, otherwise if you want total privacy there’s another spot or two on the 170? Something acres!) Pup and I will be back soon, thanks guys 😊

What a beautiful place! Very well kept and cared for. Heaps of space, nice flat trimmed grass with easy access. Fantastic hosts with lots of handy suggestions in the area. The friendly animals were a bonus! Highly recommend for a peaceful camp under the stars👏

The BEST hipcamp I have very been to. It is very peaceful, the camping sites are flat and surrounded by trees. It’s a huge area so no noisy campers close by. The directions were spot on and Darren and Simone are the perfect hosts. They are super friendly and helpful. My daughter and I needed a couple of days in nature to unwind and relax and thats exactly what we got here. I don’t think I will go to any other hipcamp 🙂.

What a beautiful spot to unwind, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet! We had a great stay at Kalimna Farm. Darren and Simone are lovely hosts. We enjoyed learning about the farm. The private camping area was well maintained and perfect to spread out and even hang a hammock! The kids enjoyed exploring the trails on the property that were also very well maintained and easy to access as well as talking to the horses and cows in the next paddock! They were lucky enough to meet some very cute goats and the farm dogs. Will definitely be back!

Stayed at the red gum site or as Darren called it the dead gum after being struck by lightning. What a spot! Quiet area with the odd wondering cow or 2, throw in some epic sunsets and you have a good camp. Had a walk to look at some of the other sites and will definitely be back! Thanks for the chat and all round hospitality Darren.

Great place to camp, awesome hosts Darren & Simone, checked in daily to say hello. Very private property that is easy to get to sites, on arrival Darren takes you to the grounds. Farming land with cows n horses and great tracks to walk around the property. I was blessed to have perfect weather, stars above at night and sunny days. I will be back again and for longer. Felt very comfortable and safe camping here.

Peace & tranquillity i would explain 'Kalimna' plenty of space for campers, cows are very inquisitive, beautiful looking horses, I would definitely recommend a stay over... I was very happy indeed with my stay ☺️ Darren & Simone are very welcoming & helpful in every way 👏

Fantastic host Darren, leads you through his farm to a lovely secluded spot by the creek. Some cows came to check us out. His incredible working dogs are the most well behaved and put all house puppies to shame. I had a bit of rain but plenty of time to dry everything before packing up. Thanks, see you next time Darren

What a magical experience! Such a beautiful spot, quiet and peaceful with an abundance of bird life. I was fortunate enough to have the whole place to myself and made use of the well maintained tracks to wander around the property and indulge in the tranquility. Even if there had of been other campers, the sites are well spaced to ensure privacy no matter where you set up and are very generous in size. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect and were very welcoming, with suggestions on local tourist sites, as well as the best spots to see on the property. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and secure at all times. Being a regular HipCamper I can say this is one of the best properties I have stayed at around the Sunshine Coast and the hosts were the cherry on top! Well maintained, peaceful and a hidden gem that I look forward to coming back to.

Just wanted to say a warm thank you to Darren for welcoming us onto his property which we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at, the campgrounds were pristine and spacious with plenty of room for our kids to ride their bikes, get back to basics with camp cooking stargazing , watching the the cows and the horses. Darren had a lot of local knowledge and was able to point us in the right direction to a local swimming hole with our dog. We will definitely be going back, Cheers Dan & Nat

My dogs and I enjoyed this campsite (we had it all to ourselves!). But unfortunately we got rained out so ended up leaving early so didn’t get to explore the creek etc or wander far from camp. lovely Mountain View’s on one side also. Darren and Simone were awesome hosts! Very down to earth people who loved their property and their animals. Saw some cows and beautiful tiny calves also.

Lovely set up, plenty of flat ground for tents. Some wonderful places to ramble and exlpore. Creek is cute with many magic corners to sit by and loose yourself in a good book or just the many bird calls. We will be back. Thank you Darren
