We had the most wonderful stay at Jotoludy, it was the perfect introduction to camping for our young family (with children under 5).
As first-time campers, we couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The large shelter with tables and seating was very convenient as well as having access to power, a fridge, and sinks gave us peace of mind while still letting us enjoy the camping experience.
The site is private, so we didn’t have to worry about other campers, which made us feel safe and relaxed. It’s very spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for stargazing, kicking a soccer ball, and sending our 4 year old off on little nature treasure hunts.
There was plenty of space to choose where to set up our tent, which was a big bonus.
Although it was ideal for a small family’s first camping trip, we could also see it being a fantastic spot for larger groups or celebrations.
The creek was lovely too. We had no trouble accessing it, though it might be a little tricky for less mobile visitors as the path is narrow and steep.
My 4 year old absolutely loved being woken up by the cows outside our tent, he thought it was hilarious.
I didn’t get to meet the hosts initially as we were running so far behind schedule we missed them, but my partner had a chat with them on the way out and said Katrina was lovely.
Overall, it was an incredible first time camping experience that we’ll treasure and would highly recommend!

Fabulous camping weekend with gorgeous scenery, creek for swimming and a huge entertaining outdoor area with kitchen, bar and eating area. Would definitely go back.

Katrina and her partner were very welcoming they, showed us around visited for a chat and supplied us with timber. The farm was beautiful with amazing privacy, facilities and comfort. We were able to use power, have an amazing fire and play in the creek which had both a swimming hole and kids friendly running stream. Only 50 min to the Gold Coast it was perfect for a trip to the theme parks.

Such an incredible location with lots of niceties such as the shed with a dining table, the outhouse, fire out and electricity if you need it, to make the camp experience a little bit easier.
Our kids loved the place and are already asking when we can go back!
The site is well maintained and easy to get to, and Katrina was a great host. Also another big postive is that you have the whole place to yourself.
We will definately be back for another stay!

We loved our stay at Jotoludy. Great camp kitchen / covered area, extremely well kept and tidy site. There are also some fabulous swimming holes in summer. Katrina is a fantastic host and we enjoyed her visit for a chat on Saturday afternoon.

This was our third stay and it was fabulous as always. So good to have the site to yourself and the big camp kitchen space is great for sharing meals, playing games and escaping the wet weather with a group.

We had such a good time at this spot and appreciated the massive undercover area with lots of seating during a wet weekend away! The fridge and kitchen area was very handy.
Our kids loved running around the fully fenced site and venturing down to the creek.
Thanks Katrina for such a great set up. We love the attention to detail!

We had the best time at this gorgeous site. Such a beautiful flat area to camp and play, awesome shed and fire pit, and it was warmer than expected, so we also had a dip in the river. Bliss! Will definitely be back

Who wouldn't want to camp at a super grassy flat spot, beautifully maintained with great attention to detail that has a super friendly host? You can add to that a river for swimming or paddling, quiet surroundings and a covered shelter that has fairy lights, 240v power and a great sized fire pit next to it. And that's Jotoludy - highly recommended.

What a beautiful spot Katrina has set up! Extra large undercover area, plenty of seating and benches, awesome outdoor firepit with a great setup for cooking over fire, plenty of flat mowed well maintained grass area to use. Added bonus of having an outdoor tap and sink set up and an undercover tap and sink set up with non potable water, lighting in the undercover area and onto the fire pit area, a microwave and a full size fridge/freezer was the icing on top, was just soo handy to have. A short walk down the path at the rivers edge and we were delighted to have some mini river rapids and swimming hole to enjoy. Followed other campers suggestions and packed gripped water shoes, was great for the slippery rocky river bed. Katrina and family were welcoming, easy check in process and fast communication, we will definitely be back to visit!

We've just come home from two nights at Jotoludy and have lots of great things to say about it.
Great proximity to the river. Recommended to wear some sort of footwear to help prevent slipping over in the water. Water was really refreshing and clean and great for paddling around and cooling off. Full of fish and turtles.
Property is very clean, has a great large shelter and huge fire pit.
The grassed area is flat and well maintained so no problem walking around on the lovely grass in bare feet.
All in all, a great getaway not far from civilisation, yet feels a world away.
Definitely will return.

Would we go again??? Absolutely!
Katrina was such a lovely host. Answered all my annoying questions prior to arrival and so welcoming when we got there.
The camping area is private and huge. Flat green grass to set up tents, caravans etc. No dry dirt anywhere. Quite a few bindies though so wear shoes.
The under cover area is awesome. It's where we spent most of our time.
Has power, lights, a fridge microwave, sink etc and plenty of prep area to make meals. Even has an extension cord to reach different tables. At this time of year, bring fans as the qld heat can get quite humid.
We took a 2 burner gas stove and electric frypan, kettle etc. It's BYO so bring all your own gear to cook, eat with.
Lots of table and chairs too. Great for board games etc
Just be wary of the little spiders that hang down from the roof at night. They are harmless though.
Very roomy fire pit area with big logs to sit on. Was way too hot for us to have a fire though. Would be perfect in winter.
The walk down to the swimming area isn't for people that are unsteady on their feet or have bad knees. It's quite uneven. But that wasn't an issue for us.
Was so relaxing laying on our inflatables listening to the birds and so refreshing. There are lots of rocks under the water so take reef shoes. The deep end is about waste deep. That water though .... omg .... my skin and hair are so soft.
All in all, fantastic place. Only 15 mins drive to Beaudesert to restock supplies.

Great spot , privacy and space with many additions to what most campsites can offer, with large well maintained covered shelter with tables, benches, seating, food preparation and cleaning areas undercover and massive ring fire pit with further seating surrounding.
Not the weather or time of year to enjoy the creek but also such a great additional feature to enjoy.
Fantastic and will be back with some friends.

We did have a couple of issues on arrival but they were quickly resolved. I hired this for 6 of my friends for my 40th birthday camping
This is a beautiful spot , nice and private. It was great having the under cover area to set up- as we had some questionable weather 😂 I love how you don’t have to see or deal with any other campers!
We had so much fun at the creek- definitely take some inflatables to lounge in the water in- it was so relaxing although the creek is mostly shallow so you’re ok if you’re not a strong swimmer.
Overall all my guests had an amazing time and Katrina was only a text away if we needed help.

The flat tent area, long drop toilet, and covered cooking space make for a hassle-free camping experience. While the fridge was a bit hit or miss, the fairy lights add a magical touch.
The large fire pit is perfect for gatherings, and the host's excellent communication was a plus.
Although the river and grounds were dry during our stay, it's a minor setback for an overall enjoyable nature escape.

Katrina and Mark were very welcoming.

Hands down the best camping experience I've had. Entire site to ourselves (it's massive) including central covered space which was powered with plenty of seating/tables and a microwave. Giant fire pit (with firewood supplied!), running water, and exclusive river access and usage which was perfect on a hot January day. Almost felt wasted on just me and the little one - but we will be back with a bigger group for sure! Katrina was super helpful on welcome and then let us be for the entire stay. You will struggle to find better!
