We had a lovely stay, close to Toowoomba. The lake and all the wildlife was a bonus we didn’t expect. We will be back for sure

Good basic van. Bed was comfy and everything works, couldn't try tv as remote missing. Bathroom facilites were great and very clean. Looks like just renovated. Very quiet park and lovely location with birds. Handy to get to Toowoomba. Appreciate it being pet friendly. Needs a good clean, including scrub of walls as its a bit smelly inside. Needed a few more kitchen amenities , no sponge or teatowel.

Beautiful spot! Easy to get to and from Toowoomba city. Clean toilets and showers. FYI highway noises are persistent without a sound barrier but we slept fine. Would come back again :)

I found a perfect corner space by the lake sheltered by trees where I could perch my swag & 3 dogs without concern of passerbys. There was a wide mowed track 5m away to walk the dogs as needed, handy for our Overnight stay! Water taps everywhere is also handy. Friendly staff are happy to assist/direct around the park. Well maintained sites & suuuper clean bathrooms!!

Very basic and not worth the price.

The campsite was a patch of grass within a caravan park where people live. The toilets and showers were gross and had no toilet paper. The people that live there stare and watch you which was very uncomfortable. The host still has never replied to my message asking for help the night we arrived as didn’t know where to park! No communication nor clear instructions. Loud busy road but the only positive was the sunrise in the morning was lovely with lots of birds.

we can tell from the get go that the place is looked after with so much love. The place has beautiful facilities, clean and surrounded with various beautiful nature! We loved the view of the lake and ducks enjoying their swim.

Site was clean and tidy and so were the amenities The smell on the site was horrendous !!!!! Also felt like we parked in the centre of a housing estate with the majority being permanent residents which made us uncomfortable Mower and whipper snipper going Sunday morning right opposite so not what I’d call a relaxing stay !! We didn’t even stay the 2 nights we booked and @$46 per night not cheap either

Helidon Spa has everything you need from a caravan park (no dump point, but that was made clear before hand). Nice views of lakes and short drive to most necessities. The owners are doing a good job improving the facilities and the staff were very helpful and communicated extremely well.

Directly near a busy highway

Camp site is right near a very busy and noisy (allll night) highway. Facilities are fine, not great and not overly clean. We won't stay here again, didn't sleep at all - road trains all night up/down hill. We left early.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

The good. Nice location and nice Lakes, friendly manager. The bad. No drive through concrete sites available what we paid for, these were all taken up by permanent residents caravans The ugly. Most of the site caravans are permanent residents, some of these are ugly and ramshackle but they take up the best spots in the park. These caravans should be moved to the back of the site and let the holiday makers have the spots closest to the lake, although there is a bit of traffic noise it's not too bad.

Powered Caravan Site

We had a decent site with power which overlooked one of the lakes. The amenities were just a few metres or so up the end of the block and they were the cleanest amenities I’ve ever come across. Even though you could see the Warrego Hway you could barely hear the traffic. The other campers were pleasant enough to chat too also. If anything could be upgraded I would maybe say a pool of some sort for the really hot days. This was our first caravan trip and it has made our time enjoyable and looking forward to other trips

We really enjoyed our stay at Helidon Spa Eco Village. The amenities are the cleanest I've seen. Jai was very helpful in helping us newbies set up our van. In fact he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Dale is always a busy man, working all over the park. But you always get a wave or a G'day when he passes by. You can here the highway a little but it was not bothersome. I loved the wildlife that was around the park each day. We felt very at home with our month long stay and were sad to say goodbye. Thanks Dale, Jai, Denis and crew 👍. We'll be back, Margo, Andy & Willow.

Great location outside Toowoomba. Large sites, green grass. Large amenities building, good size showers and lots of hot water. Dale and his team are welcoming and helpful. A small and friendly community also lives there. A bit noisy being so close to the Warrego H'way but with a full height van you probably wouldn't notice the noise as much.

Great spot to be in out of busy Toowoomba. Large site on grass. Amenities clean, although industrial looking, large bench in shower, lots of hot water, maybe a few hooks to hang things on would be good. Lots of friendly people here. Dale and his team are really accommodating. Only downside was the vehicle noise from the Warrego H'way. Worse if you are in a pop top, maybe not so bad in a full height van.

Quiet a few locals and a number of

Upon arrival the greeting we received and assistance given was very good and appreciated. Thankyou to the caretaker. Not a place we would attend again given the abusive dog owner with 3 dogs. Given this was our first outing in a van park with a young dog I didn't appreciate the altercation when our dog slipped off her lead.

No Dump point.

Note: No Dump Point. That's not a deal breaker, but not finding out till you get there is a real PIA. Had to drive a 1 hour round trip (to Gatton RV Park) to empty our cassette, when if we had known prior to getting there, we could easily have emptied it out on the way there. Otherwise, was a nice place for a couple of nights. Staff really helpful and friendly. New toilet block was good.
