Really peaceful, beautiful and the host was lovely. So close to everything in the sunny coast but feels so rural at the same time. The outdoor bath was brilliant.

Brilliant site to go with friends and family, perfect for kids. Bathroom and outdoor bath was brilliant.
Has sink and fridge and little undercover area.
Great site, will definitely be back. 15mins to the beach. Love it

Was fortunate enough to stay again recently and has been a couple of years years my first stay. Pleasant reminder how amazing the spot is! Whilst close to amenities feels like a mile away which is what makes it do special. Hosts are exceptional too!

Our grand kids loved camping at Happy Haven. The zip line was a great favourite. It was very quiet and safe for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. The campsite is well set up and our host very friendly. We would love to camp there again.

It's a lovely private campsite they have created at Happy Haven. We loved our time there, and we've decided to come back sometime soon with a small group of friends to share this happy place.

What a beautiful and tranquil space! Quaint outdoor kitchen and undercover area with a great bathroom. Firepit was used each night and we bought firewood from them too. Plenty of birdlife. Would highly recommend it!

Just about the ideal for what I personally look for in a camp. Felt like camping but we had exclusive use of undercover kitchen with everything you could want plus a very comfortable and hot shower and flush toilet. Fire pit and even firewores available bagged up on site. Good access to local areas and friendly hosts who also keep their distance.
Great work. I would stay again if in the area. I would consider happy haven over happy hut just to be further from the road.

Was really nice to have shower, toilet and washbasin all under cover. Nice position, good hosts. Only slight drawback is a bit of road noise during the day. Would go.back

Lovely, picturesque, private stay at Happy Hut! Best to take your own camp cooking stove if you have a lot of people in your party. There's a tiny gas grill and hotplate and a small fridge/freezer, a microwave and some electricity available. Comfortable set up indeed with shower/toilet.

Great to be away from the crowds.
Close enough to Eumundi market, Coolum and inland waterfalls.
Piggyback Thai was a sensational suggestion for dinner.
We loved having a warm outdoor shower/bath.
Very nice to be allowed to stay at Katrina's property.

Happy Haven had all the extras you could possibly want in a camp site! With an ensuite, outdoor bath, bar fridge, fire pit, privacy, easy access, a FLYING FOX that the kids went cuckoo for and firewood available on site ($15 cash a bag) it was nothing but perfection. Like other reviews, the road traffic noise off in the distance is noticeable but it’s most certainly not a deal breaker by any means. Katrina and her husband were welcoming and accomodating. Reasonably quick communication on the app and the location is great. We had to depart a little early due to the weather but will definitely return soon!

Happy Haven was an absolutely stunning site. Very easy to navigate and flat site made it simple to unpack. The outdoor bath was superb and added a little luxe to the experience. It was very peaceful and quiet. Occasional faint noise of cars but that’s to be expected and did not at all disturb the experience.
I look forward to coming back some point soon.

The area was beautiful and secluded. The sun hit the site in the early morning. Perfect for your morning coffee. The sunsets behind the sight with a perfect view from the outdoor tub. The water temp in the outside tub and indoor shower was perfect. Which is great for winter camping. There was a list of things to do in the local area. We booked for a romantic getaway and everything was perfect. We would come again and absolutely recommend booking here. Side note: it’s also perfect for families. Enough space for multiple tents. Our only complaint was the fridge wasn’t cold. However, it was freezing so our eski ice didn’t even melt and we stayed for 2 days. Happy camping ☺️

We booked the Happy Hut a month ago and look forward to have our camping experience. Unfortunately, raining days before and during our booking dates. Katrina offered to refund us even in the morning of the booking date. Good host to understand the weather condition and gave us refund even the policy said no refund within 3 days cancelation. Thanks ! Katrina.

We loved our stay at the Happy Hut. It was perfectly set up for our needs and had everything you could ever need for your stay. The ensuite bathroom was perfect to warm up with a hot shower before the cooler night set in.
The kids (and us) loved the flying fox too!
We will definitely be booking some time again. Thank you for creating such a cool space!
