Absolutely every thing about this place from location to having plenty of shade and cool in the afternoon no matter how hot the day is . Then can just cool off in outdoor shower. Peace and quiet with everything you need no matter what your set up ..

Great location while still being close to everything you need. The kids absolutely loved it, especially the swings and flying fox. The host was very friendly and understanding.
Perfect spot for a family or even 2–3 families travelling together. Having a toilet and shower was a huge bonus, especially when travelling with kids.

The site was very private and once a minor issue with the hot water was quickly sorted it was an amazing place to spend our time in the region. Tucked up in a quiet location but close enough to local attractions. The facilities were exactly as described and provided everything we needed.

Very quiet, private site with a great view! Having our own shower and toilet was very convenient. A solid table and two chair were provided. Perfect for the four of us but this site could easily accommodate more.

My family and I had a great time at Happy Hut, there was 11 of us with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The camp kitchen had everything we needed, even a full size fridge. There are lots of places a short drive away to visit like Maroochy River and the Big Pineapple. We will definitely be back in the future.

Incredible spot! We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Happy Hut. Owners were so accomodating and kind. We will DEFINITELY be back! Facilities are great! Indoor shower plus an outdoor shower and bathtub which was awesome!

We had such a lovely stay here. The place was peaceful, quiet, and very private. The hosts respected our space and never interrupted us, but when we went to see them they were incredibly friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. We had a really fun and memorable time. Looking forward to coming back next time!

The location is great- close to local attractions and the beach. The outdoor bath is lovely, and the campsite has a well-set-up camp kitchen, table, and bar fridge which was very handy. The drive out is scenic with plenty to see and do. The site itself is flat and easy for setting up tents. The bush swing and zip line was a fun novelty for my daughter, and the surrounding nature is beautiful.
However, noise was a small issue. Rooster crowing during the day and starting around 4:30am, combined with periods of mowing, machinery in the afternoons, traffic, and motorbikes at night, meant I didn’t get enough rest over our three-night stay.
Given the size of the area (a single campsite), I was a little surprised to find some rubbish on arrival, including alcohol cans, a cigarette butt, and a chocolate wrapper. The fridge could have used a wipe-out. Additionally, no bags of firewood were available, and a heads-up about this would have been appreciated.
Overall, it’s a great site with lots of perks, but a few things could be improved.

Great camping spot for a relaxing 3 days away, has great clean toilet and shower,, full kitchen with power, fridge freezer, microwave with gas cooker which allows no need to take full camping gear.

This was one of the nice places to stay we've been too, we usually go to the big named caravan parks (which are usually a let down). Excited to come again and going to book an extra night to fully enjoy the space!

Was fortunate enough to stay again recently and has been a couple of years years my first stay. Pleasant reminder how amazing the spot is! Whilst close to amenities feels like a mile away which is what makes it do special. Hosts are exceptional too!

Our grand kids loved camping at Happy Haven. The zip line was a great favourite. It was very quiet and safe for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. The campsite is well set up and our host very friendly. We would love to camp there again.

What a beautiful and tranquil space! Quaint outdoor kitchen and undercover area with a great bathroom. Firepit was used each night and we bought firewood from them too. Plenty of birdlife. Would highly recommend it!

Just about the ideal for what I personally look for in a camp. Felt like camping but we had exclusive use of undercover kitchen with everything you could want plus a very comfortable and hot shower and flush toilet. Fire pit and even firewores available bagged up on site. Good access to local areas and friendly hosts who also keep their distance.
Great work. I would stay again if in the area. I would consider happy haven over happy hut just to be further from the road.

Was really nice to have shower, toilet and washbasin all under cover. Nice position, good hosts. Only slight drawback is a bit of road noise during the day. Would go.back
