Habitat Noosa Everglades EcoCamp is a truly unique camping and glamping destination, located just 25 minutes from Noosa and set across 65 acres of protected National Park on the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba. This is an ideal spot for campers who want to immerse themselves in nature while still enjoying great facilities and memorable experiences. Wake to birdsong, watch kangaroos grazing nearby, and spend your days exploring one of Queensland’s most pristine landscapes. Guests can enjoy a wide range of waterfront activities, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, wave skis and tinnie hire, or stay on land with a game of frisbee golf set among bushland. Awesome spot with great facilities, whether you’re in a tent or in a van. The eco brewery offers a great variety of meals and drinks. Family friendly, the wild life experience was amazing with kangaroos camping only meters away along with the odd goanna paying their morning visit! Crystal clean lake was definitely well use . Would definitely stay again.

So spacious and comfortable even for just a tent site, the whole experience was enjoyable and if we weren’t out exploring Noosa/surrounds there would’ve been plenty to do hanging out around the camp. Absolutely understand the hype around the place.

The place is nice and the facilities were well kept. Though on the long weekend, it was really difficult finding an available space, forcing campers to be in very close proximity. If it weren’t for other campers being willing to rearrange their campsite for us, we likely would not have stayed. Most campers respected the 10pm noise curfew but the close proximity meant privacy and a good rest was hard to come by.

Huge camp ground very close to a lake which is great for recreational activities etc. However it’s crazy that there’s only 8 toilets per gender for the whole of the powered and unpowered sites! Get ready for a huge hike to the loo if you’re starting at the Gums

This Hipcamp is situated right on the lake and has more of a caravan park feel. The sites were a bit smaller than we expected, but the café, microbrewery, and access to tours were definite bonuses. We only stayed one night, but it would have been great to have more time to explore everything on offer.

Great spot, right on the lake but with trees for shelter from wind and sun. Sites are flat and big enough for 3 2 tents, a swag and a gazebo. 4 of us stayed for two nights in early Jan. 1 tent and a swag got inundated when it pissed down rain on the first day. Fortunately, the staff were able to accommodate us in a vacant glamping site for one night, we only had to pay the difference, which saved our bacon. Weather was fine the next day/night. Good facilities. Even a micro-brewery. Can't have a fire without a brazier, not provided, which caught us out. Easily accessible in 2WD. Lots of ducks and iguanas on site. Bit more pricey than a national park site, but still reasonable.

We absolutely loved staying at this campsite - more so for the wild kangaroos that were all around. We even saw little Roos in the pouches. The only downfall was the showers as they weren’t the best but not the worst. Overall would recommend.

Campsite was great! Ducks and kangaroos all around and great lake. Its a bit shallow for adults unfortunately. Campsite food was okay but clearly frozen fish and chicken schnitzel. Otherwise, perfect.

We stayed in the Gums area and couldn’t believe how much space there was for camping! It was kept so clean, it was quiet and such a beautiful place to camp. So unfortunate it was raining and stormy over the Christmas period while we stayed here but we will definitely come back another time when the weather is better. We also loved all the little animals going around the sites! So sweet

We had an amazing time at this campsite! I didn’t expect it to be a complete campsite when I booked through Hipcamp but it is a large area complete with a bistro, seating areas, showers and toilets. The gums area are pretty far away from the lake and amenities but ultimately we ended up loving our spot as it was tucked away from the roads and we had our own private anima highway each day! As others have mentioned the showers situation is a bit grim. For a HUGE campsite there are only 10 showers and 10 toilets. And they’re also a solid walk. I think for how large the campsite is they would do well with one more shower/toilet block. We ended up showering just before bed otherwise it was lines and lines of waiting. It’s also a grim site when the main toilet block is closed for cleaning, meaning at one point only two female toilets were available for hundreds of campers. This just felt entirely inadequate especially for the premium prices that are charged to stay. That being said we still thought the area was beautiful. The lake is dreamy. There are so many activities to enjoy and not too far of a drive from so many other spots to check out. We will definitely be back to visit but probably in a less busy season!

Beautiful place, lots of kangaroos and wildlife. 20 minutes from noosa so great location. onsite bar and restaurant very good. But the facilities totally ruined it for us. This place needs to do better with rubbish removal, shower cleanliness and more toilet facilities. Basic hygiene. Off peak times it's probably not a problem. Christmas/ new years it's revolting. There is one toilet block (6 male toilets, no urinals, 6 female toilets)in the Powered sites area for the entire camp, which was at capacity. Daily at least 2 of each toilets were blocked or unusable. The queue for the male toilets would start at 5am! The showers were located behind the restaurant and reception area, well away from the toilets, next to the dump point and the always overflowing stinking rubbish bins. There were ample showers, but no toilet in the block. In the female showers the drain is "shared" between at least 6 showers which blocked, so overflowed into the shower, which lead to a gross shower experience when someone had their monthly and it flowed down into my shower. Had there been a toilet in the shower block and unblocked drains it would not have even happened. If they are going to allow that many people to stay there then provide an adequate amount of facilities and spread them out around the camp!! Was such a shame cause it's definitely an amazing place to visit.

Absolutely perfect, was such a great spot to stay, especially for the kiddos lake is perfect no to deep for the parents peice of mind,only thing I could say was there was a whole outback area closed off so it got a bit cramped in the outback section that was open. Otherwise an amazing venue, everyone should visit at least once.

We had a really nice stay at this camping site. The kids were especially excited because they got to see wild kangaroos up close, which was an unforgettable experience for them. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Overall, it’s a lovely camping spot and we truly enjoyed our time there.
