Everything we needed was there. Nice place very relaxing. My dogs enjoyed themselves as long as you kept the gate closed from the dogs next door. Nice for the kids & plenty of room for your friends to camp.

We had an amazing time. The animals were so friendly and visits from the dogs Spud and Willow were loved by my son. Very private and immaculate. The cabin has every thing you need! We had a group with some of us in tents. There was plenty of room. The kids loved feeding and playing with the animals.
The views was amazing!! We will be back

It was great, a well equipped cabin and good facilities. It was a bonus that Damen offered for the kids to ride the ponies! All the animals were friendly and provided hours of entertainment. We would definitely book again! Thanks again Damen & Heidi!

2nd visit to Duchess Farm and it was more fun the second time round (thanks to the weather). It is a great place to switch off and chill with the family (but still have 4G if really needed).. The Children love interacting with and feeding the animals, and great to get around the camp fire at night for a chat.
There will be a 3rd visit in the future i'm sure.

We had a fabulous time at Duchess Farm. The cabin was clean and airy with great views. My kids loved feeding all the animals and roasting marshmallows on the fire at night. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Duchess Farm. The kids loved playing with all the animals and it was in a great location for walks and a visit to Nobbys Pub. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! We cannot recommend the cabin enough! The cabin was so clean and comfortable, the animals were lovely! The view is absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back!

My grandchildren enjoyed the proximity of all the animals and the amenities of the very comfy cottage. We had 3 dogs, as the place is advertised as pet friendly, but the billy goat with horns was threatening and not safe with pets and children - as he kept poking his head through the fence. The baby goats hopped through the fence, which could have fatal for them. Perhaps another fence between cottage and animals would be safer for all.
Privacy was also not great, with tenants (friendly) and their 2 dogs (one not friendly) directly behind the cottage. Expecting to be able to buy firewood at the site was disappointing, as it was all wet. Not the best camping spot - but great for a small family to experience a bit of the country. Gumboots are essential.

Great couple of days at the Duchess Farm, the weather wasn't great but that didn't stop us enjoying the animals and local area (inc. Darling Downs Zoo). Cabin worked well for 2 Adults & 2 children. Definitely booking again in the near future.

Our stay at Duchess Farms was just great! The animals really made the experience so memorable for our girls and my 5 year old is already asking to go back. The cabin, although small had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My husband and I spent the evenings around the camp fire taking in the night sky and enjoying the peace and quiet. The sunset views across the farm were incredibly beautiful too.
The host very thoughtfully even arranged for our daughter to be able to take a ride on one of the miniature horses.
The location was great to get away from the hustle and bustle and also to check out the Darling Downs Zoo. Thanks again for having us Damen.

Very quiet and private farm stay experience. Nice and clean cabin. Outdoor toilet is much useful for campers. Fully fenced so my dog ran around freely. Highly recommend for a family especially with young kids to stay for a couple days. They will be loving the farm aniamls! Darling Downs Zoo is only also 15 mins away.

Just got back home from an absolutely amazing stay at this place for our family getaway. Everything was beautiful the cabin, the fire pit, the animals and the open fields at night allowing you to see all the stars, could see the Milky Way. Our kid loved it was good to get away from the screens and technology (there’s still a bit of reception out there) and let the little one just run around and play freely without having to worry about anything. It’s so calm and quiet out there it’s lovely, you feel so detached coming out here from a busy suburban area it’s really relaxing. Animals are all friendly, night sky’s are beautiful, locals are welcoming if you go into the small towns close by. Darling downs zoo only 20mins away which was also a great place.
Definitely coming to stay here again in the future.

It was such an awesome place to stay with our 2 year old. We all loved interacting with the animals. The sunsets and sunrises were so beautiful to watch from the cabin and the fire and star duo were even better.
Damen, the neighbours, and the Nobby locals were all very nice.

Was the best weekend, Damen is really nice and welcoming! Super chill and relaxing. The cabin have everything you need. Super cozy! And we had friends to camp outside. The stargazing next to the fore pit, was the highlight We will be back for sure and recommended to anyone.

We had a great time staying at Duchess Farm. A lot of effort has gone into ensuring a comfortable stay. Anything we forgot to think of or bring for our trip was at the cabin which was helpful. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and warm. The heaters kept the cabin warm. Location was ideal, quiet and private. Only a short drive to Rudds pub. Stopped at FoodWorks nearby to stock up on food. I had a great time feeding the animals and being on the farm. The Cabin and surroundings were tidy. Check in instructions were clear. We had no issues for the duration of our stay. Thank you for making my birthday a good one.

Being able to feed/interact with the farm animals in such close proximity to the cabin was a treat, especially the cute kids. Being able to park the caravan on the level drive beside the cabin was very convenient. The fire pit was most enjoyable on a cool clear winter's night. A picturesque, secluded spot with all the amenities included in the well-appointed cabin.

We went for a little family holiday and weren't disappointed. My 2 year old loved feeding the animals and watching them all day long, also loved the whole area is fenced so I could relax knowing he couldn't run far. The cabin is small but it has everything you need, and there's a little town up the road with some takeaway and a small park. The star gazing at night was really nice as well !

This was one of the most relaxing times away we've had, from the drive out, to the property itself, the farm animals, the local pub, everything was amazing, couldn't have possibly asked for a better time away, my 5 year old was absolutely in love with being able to feed all the animals whenever she wanted.
Damen Is a fantastic host and a great bloke, who has put a lot of time and effort into making this such a great spot. Getting back to reality was a little painful after being out here for a few days, we will definitely be back.

Nice little spot for all the family to enjoy. We took a camper trailer and caravan along for the trip so the extra amenities allowed us plenty of options. It was quite wet when we stayed however we felt the owners were warm and welcoming. Plenty of feed to keep the goats occupied. The kids loved it. Thank you!

Our stay at the dutchess farm was perfect!
The home was nice and clean & had everything you’ll need already there, beautiful views, very friendly animals to interact with & feed.

Star gazing was amazing! Perfect country getaway for the family. Cabin was clean and tidy with everything needed for a few days stay. We had planned on a drive during our stay but enjoyed the peace and quiet so much we didn’t leave the property.
