Great spot. We were well looked after by hosts.
Noise from road can be a bit loud but the space and beautiful location offset that. Great amenities. Very clean and new. Maybe a little pricey but we felt safe, sound and very comfy. We also could access adjacent caravan park if we wished.

The camping area is beautifully grassed and such a pleasure to stay at. Fire pit provided. Brilliant night around the fire. Great amenities. And the management is awesome. Will definitely be back.

Felt safe, nice soft grass for tenting. I arrived and left in the dark, bitten by mossies - cover up or take deterrent of your choice. Slept well.

This was a lovely grassy area, by a crystal clear creek. Good amenities, is nearby the Bruce Highway so some vehicle noise during the night.

Nat and Kim are excellent hosts. The camping ground was great. Water, shower and toilet. It was our first trip in our teardrop camper and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great little coffee cart on the weekends, The little Bean Buggy. Thank you, a big thumbs up from us.

Beautiful spot. Quiet and with easy access to the creek. Saw a Platypus and could easily stay longer. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. The campsite was green and lush and the dogs had a great time too. We were also able to use our own fire pit (with a brazier supplied by crystal creek underneath) which made it enjoyable. Toilet block was basic but clean. Would definitely stay again

We really liked the clean, green land. The female bathroom was okay—it could have used a bit more attention, but we were able to use the caravan park bathroom, which was great.
Next time we go back, we’ll make sure to stay further away from the road, as it was a bit noisy during the night.

Crystal creek campsite was well maintained with lots of green grass and shady trees, plenty of space for the kids to enjoy. The amenities were adequate.

Lovely place to camp. We stayed 1 night. Close to Crystal Creek swimming (10 mins drive away), the grounds were green and shade along the perimeter of the property. Amenities block was very clean. The lady who was care taking the property on Xmas Day, was kind, friendly and helpful - we highly recommend this camp spot 🙂

Overall it was a good site and the main caravan park amenities were fantastic if you wanted to use them. But we found the photos misleading thinking we would be camping near a creek which we were disappointed by. There is a creek but it is over the grassed field and then a 50m walk through the gate and down but the embankment which is up a bit and you cannot access the creek.

Crystal Creek Campsite
Stayed one night, just a quick camp with kids. Lots of places to set up camp, flat and shadey around sides of area. Toilets/Showers pretty basic, but can always walk up to the caravan park ones, as there are more there.
Site is on the back of the caravan park, so secure access and easy to find. The van park has some nice sites as well.
Couple of downside but not deal breakers, in afternoon there were heaps of mozzies so pack spray. Rainforest and water nearby make mozzies happy.
Also didn't realise that access to crystal creek from the site was pretty poor, but if you go for a five minute drive down the road there are large parts of crystal creek where you can park and swim.
Would definitely stay again.

Overall we had a great experience and loved having your own space, only disappointing thing were the cleanliness of the toilets/showers and the toilet paper ran out.

It's a great camp ground, lots of space so your can be well away from everyone else. Plenty of shade. At first we did notice the road noise and the trains but after 5 minutes this was not noticable. I would recommend a stay here.

Peaceful, plenty of space, grassy, saw our first Australian tarantula at the very clean toilets and hot showers (though we love nature so this was exciting for us! Along with a green tree frog 🧡). Easy to access, just off the highway and close to essentials.

We had a great time camping here. The spacious areas allowed us to spread out with lots of room for the kids to run and play without bothering others. The amenities were clean and welcomed!
While we were hoping for creek access to cool off, it didn’t take away from the experience. The beautiful surroundings and easy access to Crystal Creek made up for it. Overall, this campsite is a fantastic getaway, we’ll definitely return!

The campsite is very spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax. There are ample areas for activities like kicking a footy or for the kids to ride their bikes.
It's not as close to the water as I initially thought. While it's accessible via a steep path, it doesn't offer a comfortable spot to sit while the kids swim and I was a little worried about crocs being so close to the mouth of the river. However, it's a quick 10 minute drive to reach Big Crystal Creek for a swim. Additionally, the adjoining caravan park has a pool, providing a spot to cool off and play within walking distance.
The amenities were clean and well maintained, with plenty of hot water. A heads-up: fires need to be contained and placed on a fire blanket. The service station next door was super convenient for grabbing extra bags of ice and a sneaky sweet treat.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice spot to camp while still having access to some modern comforts.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had an unpowered site which was quiet, green grass, shade and a creek right there. Easy to deal with and pet friendly! Lots to see if you enjoy the outdoors. Thankyou - we will be back!
