Welcome to Crumpy's Place! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578169520135 Nothing fancy, just a safe and secure, friendly, and quiet place to stay for 1 night through to a couple of weeks. Set on 20 acres and based in Bluewater, just north of Townsville, we are semi-screened from the road and have easy RV or Campervan access assuming you don't mind using a simple gate. We cater to fully Self Contained guests only but we do have some basic services available depending on what spots are already taken, but generally access to: - Water - Power (at some sites only via leads at an additional charge) - Common fire pit area - Recyclable disposal only (no general rubbish or black water disposal - suggest empty before arrival at the free dump point only 1.5km away) - Free firewood readily available if you have a saw/chainsaw and a willingness to use it! - Pets on leashes allowed at some sites and may depend on breed/ other guests at the time to avoid conflict) - There is a beach and boat ramp just a couple of minutes down the end of the road, and only 15 minutes or so to a variety of shops including Groceries, Bunnings, Supercheap Auto, and BCF - You are welcome to pat the horses and say g'day to Angus, our humongous cow, all under the watchful remaining eye of Milo the Pug, the true Lord of our Manor!! Bookings are essential so you don't miss out, but please feel free to call or email us for any further information, and we will be happy to help. Once booked please call 0481002100 5 or 10 minutes in advance of arrival so we can greet and guide you in. If we are unable to take your call don't worry about leaving a message - please just text and we'll come back to you as fast as possible. Each site is approximately 10m wide and 15m long with an open area to the front, and is semi screened from behind and the road. This site is generally flat and grassy giving plenty of room for most vehicles. This is a great location to use as a base to explore the local region with a beach and boat ramp just down the road, and all manner of shops approx 15 minutes away including groceries, Supercheap Auto, and BCF.

Situated front and centre on the property, this approx 25 x 12m semi secluded and flat site is bordered by small trees providing slight screening from the road, and larger trees on the other, Depending on time of year and how you set up you can still expect to have sun to get your charge on for at least half the day, but if you need a bit of extra juice we can get you some power via leads for an additional fee should you require. This site is on its own so has reasonable privacy from others but is still only a short walk to 'The Ring of Fire' if you'd like to do some socialising with other Campers or to just enjoy the fire pit. This is a great location to use as a base to explore the local region with a beach and boat ramp just down the road, and all manner of shops 15 or so minutes away including groceries, Bunnings, Supercheap Auto and BCF.

Toni & Andrew were so lovely and made us feel very welcome. We have a 22ft van and two little kids and this stop was great for us. Flat enough land that we could stay hitched for our one night stop, also! Thanks guys!

We enjoyed our night. Andrew greeted us at the gate and guided us to our site . The fire pit area looked nice though we didn’t use it . The little pony in the yard was cute . The ground was flat . I would happily leave my van here to go exploring.

Great clean grasses spot, close to fire pit, tap and small dam. Wildlife, fire pit and fire wood, chairs and tranquility makes this a top spot for a short stop.

Awesome spot to camp, we arrived late at night and Andrew met us at the gate and helped us to our site. We only stayed the one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Will be looking forward to the camp fire next time!

This is a lovely place to stay 😁 Andrew was so welcoming on arrival and helped us settle in. He was so friendly and loved a chat. The fire pit was a really nice place to gather at dinner. The kids loved exploring and looking at all the animals and playing with the other kids. Highly recommend 👌

Yes we highly recommend this place to stay, we stayed 3 nights and it is perfectly placed for exploring townsville it is very peaceful and the hosts are wonderful people

Great for a 1 nighter! Hosts are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to enjoy the campfire. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Andrew’s place! We booked last minute and arrived 20 minutes later only to be greeted at the gate by Andrew himself and Milo the Resident pug (the reason we initially booked in the first place) - we set up shop, had loads of room and really enjoyed our stay. The miniature pony provided great entertainment and joined us for breakfast too! Very chill and peaceful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great location too, just off the highway but the road is quiet at night and not too busy in the morning. Mozzies weren’t bad at all either. All in all a great Hipcamp and I can’t reccomend it enough. Thanks so much for having us :)
