We really enjoyed this hipcamp and would highly recommend it to other campers. It was easy to find, a short distance to Samford for shopping and eating out, the camp site is beautifully maintained, grassy, flat and close to a delightful flowing creek which is perfect for a swim with both shallow and deeper areas suitable for families. We loved that it was dog friendly, Clair was a great communicator and host. We enjoyed camp fires under the stars with wood delivered to our site and cooked delicious meals with the fruit and veggies Clair had grown on her property. Plenty of space for walks to explore the farm.

Close to Brisbane. Nice flat ground. Great scenic sunsets. A creek running past the campsite to add to the atmosphere. And very close to Samford for some eating out or groceries. Nice.

What a great location. The view were beautiful and great having a creek running right near the campsite.
Probably the best maintained property I have stayed at. The only negative was that I didn’t have enough time there.

We loved the view from our camp site and our closeness to the farm cows and horses. The choirs of cows on the property and the neighbouring property were very entertainig. The property is interesting to explore and on this visit the roses were out - stunning. The hosts Clair and Andrew made us feel like family and gave us the space and freedom to quietly soak up the atmosphere and serenity.. We are heading back for our 3rd visit in Spring to check on the cows and their new calves. The property is a great place to just 'be in the moment'.

Spectacular with a magical creek!

Our new favourite Hipcamp! We had 3 nights and could have stayed longer. Totally private - you can't see any properties from the site (and the road you see on some of the photos is for you only - no other traffic). Clair was a great host - meet us when we arrived, super friendly and gave us useful info, but otherwise left us alone. The site was flat, shady and very spacious, with spectacular views across the valley. Amazing sunsets! The creek ran alongside the site and was quiet magical. Deep enough for a dip to cool off. Lots to do in the area only a short drive away - Samford Village, Dayboro, walk at Cedar Creek Falls, or just stroll around the property (beautiful gardens!). The cows kept us amused, but were fenced so no cow dung at the campsite. Lots of birdlife as well. We had a lovely relaxing stay and will definitely return (especially being so close to home in Brisbane). Thanks Clair for sharing your beautiful part of the world!

Once again another relaxing couple of days by the creek. It was pretty hot one day but the trees provided some cool shade and we sat in the creek to cool down.

Great trip, so easy to get to from Brisbane so perfect for a Friday getaway. Well maintained spot, was greated by the owners and then had complete privacy for the rest of the time. The nearby creek was pretty but not quite deep enough to cool off however there are many rock pools and waterfalls 5mins up the road at cedar creek. Pups had a great time too. Thank you!

A peaceful spot with gorgeous views! The property is beautifully kept and the hosts are friendly and welcoming, but also give you privacy to enjoy your stay. The creek next to the site is so picturesque and great for a wander and cooling dip of your feet - if you want more of a swim, it’s only a short drive up the road to Cedar Creek Falls.
We stayed with a small group of friends and all of our dogs, and had such a relaxing time. We will be back! Thank you Clair and Andrew.

What a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Clair and Andrew for openjng it up for us. Clair and Andrew are amazing hosts. There is nothing to worry about, they have thought of everything. Access is easy, the camping spot beautiful. Truely nature lovers, the farm is great to wander through and the opportunity to enjoy a secluded part of Cedar Creek is very special. We took our doggos and they had the time of their lives.
Do yourself a favour and let Clair prepare a fresh vegetable box with eggs. All from the farm. Sigh, it was hard to leave. But luckily it so close to Brisbane well just have to come back.

Friendly welcome, then left to ourselves. exactly what we were looking for. Nice clean spot between well kept horse paddocks and small creek on nice grass. We were hit by a thunderstorm and hail and were checked via the app if we were alright and invited into shelter if we needed which was a lovely touch.

We had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing and sole restoring camping stay at Clonakilty Farm. So peaceful with lots of different visual aspects to soak up and a variety of settings to explore in if one is so inclined. We really enjoyed watching Kevin (the horse) practising his mustering manoeuvres - I think we were very lucky that our stay coincided with practice day. We would have loved to have seen more of the farm dogs - so well behaved, friendly and full of character. We felt very welcomed on the farm and we had wonder freedom to explore the working property - which is much bigger than I expected. So close to Brisbane (40mins away for us Northsiders) and only 10mins from Samford. We will be back to l the Farm again and again and again in the future. Thanks Clair - see you sooner rather than later.

I didn’t personally go to the creek but both of my friends did.
From what they said
“Owners house is actually quite close to the camp site, often came over to see what was going on. Not a whole lot of privacy.”
Firewood that was pre purchased wasn’t there on arrival had to ask for it to come and it came hours later.
The amount of firewood wasn’t enough to really start a bonfire (which is what was said in messages) really needs a kilo measurement or a rough estimate so campers can accurately get as much as they need.
Again I didn’t get to go but the communication between myself and the camp organiser was lovely.

There's not a doubt in my mind we will be back (and soon!) perfect for a quick get away, we stayed one night with our very excited dog, Clair was kind enough to walk me through her garden (which is an absolute dream), the dog and husband enjoysed wandering the creek bed, the sunset view was to die for!

Such a pristine place and yet so close to Brisbane……we absolutely loved our 3 night stay. This property has been very well taken care of and the hosts were incredible. The basket of organic fruit and vegetables, the fresh cut flowers and farm fresh eggs just made the experience perfect!! You can tell the owners are passionate and love their land. We stayed in our camper trailer (self sufficient) with our 2 dog’s and enjoyed our much needed R&R! We will be back for sure.

My stay at Clonakilty Farm was wonderful 👌 Quiet, private and you can hear the creek from your camp. Nothing to do but put a fire on sit back and watch the sun go down. (And chat to the cows)
