Merlwood’s “Chesterfield Farm Stay" is a 82 acre lifestyle property which provides you with serenity and so much more. It provides a totally private, secluded, tranquil, pet friendly, beautiful “home away from home” experience, providing absolutely stunning views surrounded by grazing properties just 15 minutes outside Murgon. “Chesterfield” and the camping area known as "Diva Duck Dam" provides the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, wildlife, flora and/or spoil yourself with a relaxing stay, time to breathe and reconnect. It is perfect for bush walkers, bird watchers, photographers, milky way enthusiasts, artists, families, friends, couples or even individuals. This secluded camping spot is yours and yours only. Everything you need for the perfect break including grabbing the champagne and taking a stroll up to Wine Tree Hill to immerse yourself in an unforgettable sunset. Diva Duck Dam camping site is a work in progress so feedback always welcome!The designated camping area is in close proximity to Diva Duck Dam which is mostly grassed and level, a little shade, depending on your preferred camping spot. A great location to sit and relax and watch the sun go down over the dam and have a spectacular view of the milky way at night. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Firewood can be purchased as a small additional fee. Pets are allowed on a leash. The site is a work in progress. You will be approximately 400 metres from the house ensuring total privacy.

The designated camping area is in close proximity to Diva Duck Dam which is mostly grassed and level, a little shade, depending on your preferred camping spot. A great location to sit and relax and watch the sun go down over the dam and have a spectacular view of the milky way at night. Thank you Leanne for creating such a beautiful place to camp. So quiet, beautiful view and nature everywhere. Although it was quite warm during the day, being next to the dam with a lovely breeze made lazing around reading and taking in the view comfortable and enjoyable. The dogs loved it too with lots of space to walk around the property! The gorgeous cattle dropped by a couple of times to check us out. Leanne offers fresh eggs and honey from the property which I recommend you buy - both were delicious! I will be back, especially in winter so I can sit around the fire pit (fire restrictions were in place when I was there so had to miss out on my evening fires). Leanne is a lovely host who has created a slice of heaven in a beautiful part of Qld (the South Burnett wine region is on the door step!).

What a great spot. We loved our night here. Leanne is super nice and helpful. Knowing we had this beautiful camp to ourselves made it well worth it. Thank you Leanne if we are ever that way we will be stopping with you again.

Absolutely beautiful place. It's a must to stay. Lovely host, quiet and when you book you get your own sites which Waa amazing. Beautiful views, great swimming.
