We arrived for a three night stay to find the entrance too narrow to take our large rig through. On the booking it asks for the size of your van.
The owner was as surprised as we were that the booking was allowed and 2 weeks later still waiting on a refund.

After waiting in the driveway for over two hours with no direction on where we could park, host arrived home, told us we couldn’t stay & should try the caravan park. Host was rude & abrupt.

I would definitely recommend this place. Quiet, beautiful, clean, tidy.
John was also very easy to talk to. Had a great time.

Absolutely loved it! Set up right by the dam.. Listened to frogs croaking and the birds settling for the night. Great shower was very much enjoyed by all. Quiet, peaceful and private.

If you like camping in someone’s back yard it will be fine . Not what I would call a bush camping experience.

Really peaceful quiet and serene property with lovely dams and wildlife. Kangaroos ducks birds and ibises just to name a few. John was easy to deal with. We would definitely recommend this 👌

Great for an overnight stay. Nice clean hot shower and toilet. Plugs to charge small devices. Easy to find and very hospitable host. Convenient for an early start to Hervey Bay or getting back on the highway would recommend and stay again.

John was unbelievably kind and was incredibly understanding when we had to reschedule due to some personal circumstances. I would like to extend a huge thank you and for being there with a lovely greeting and introduction when we arrived later than expected. The facilities were great and had the best hot shower with a better water pressure than we have at home. Everything is easy to find and even better waking up in the swag with some beautiful local animals sounding off for revellie. Thank you again John, will definitely love to stay again!

Nice spot by the dam to enjoy a fire at night.
Lots of kangaroos around in the morning.
Clean toilet and warm shower.
Enjoyed our stay.

Jhon is a really nice and helpful host! he informed us of local nice areas to enjoy our trip.
The campsite is a beautiful area with a lagoon in the middle with some ducks and kangaroos on the back, it has several points to supply water, a very clean bathroom, with a wonderful hot shower! In addition, there is a refrigerator and electrical connection for different connectors.
I will recommend stay here if you are visiting this area
