Welcoming host. Wonderful tidy site. Lovely addition of the animals roaming around (cats and horses). Portaloo was probably the cleanest and most fresh smelling I have ever used. Would highly recommend this site and hope to stay here again in future!

Easy to access just phoned Margie as we were arriving just had to confirm we were at the right place and get the access code. Well maintained portaloo but otherwise very flat open area was all we needed really

Great correspondence from Margie and Martin. On arrival met by Margie who was very welcoming. No great expectations however we found staying here was so relaxing will definitely come back next time we're on Rocky. The added bonus of a beautiful clean portable loo was a great toych

The site was easy to find and communication from the hosts was fab. Portaloo was the nicest I’ve ever used. We were the only campers but there is loads of room at the site. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for having us

Absolutely loved Martin And Margies farm stay. The land its self is very well kept, down a very long quiet road so no traffic noise, has a fire pit with wood to burn too. The spot is absolutely beautiful with amazing sunrise and sunsets. They are also fantastic people with great chat and some lovely horses. We would go as far to say that we would drive hours out the way just to come stay back at this place. 10/10 alright. Was amazing meeting you guys. Ps. Thank you for the mangoes!!!

We loved camping here!! Margie gave us super clear instructions on how to access the property, and it was so lovely chatting with her. The camping area is super spacious with gorgeous views - cows, cats, horses, wallabies and so many birds around!! There is a portaloo for the campground and it was so clean with a nice little light for night time. We were lucky to be the only ones camping when we stayed, so it was so quiet and relaxing. Margie even provided us with a fire pit and firewood that her husband had cut which was so nice!!
Couldn’t recommend this Hipcamp more - we will 100% stay again if we are passing through this way

We found a gorgeous farm stay about 10km out of Rockhampton. Laurel Bank Farm Stay. Our hosts Martin & Margie were amazing hosts, they have fire pits and free supplied wood, not something you see alot of 🪵 and bbq. You can wander around the paddocks to meet the horses and cows and enjoy a quiet night outdoors.

Quiet and secure and still close to town. The porta-loo supplied was the best I've seen. Fire wood and braziers supplied for free. Great hosts. We'd do it again for sure.

It is a very calm restful place , sitting in the beauty of australian bushland. Margie graciously meets her guests and offers the logs cut for your fire in the evenings.
If you love to have peace and quiet , and enjoy what Australian landscapes have to offer, here you can reset for the next leg of the journey. It was petfect.

Bullando Farm Stay
We stayed for five nights and travelled the 15 mins into Rocky and surrounds. We prefer being a bit out of town and not crammed into a caravan park so it was perfect for us.
There is free firewood and we made use of one of the small firepits near our camp. Margie is a fantastic host and nothing was a problem. We saw red winged parrots and pale headed rosellas, along with butcher birds and kites.
