BrickVilla is a 10-acre property located a short walk from the township of Leyburn (approx. 1km). The property is home to a historic cottage built in the late 1800s that is now the residence of a fourth-generation local family. The property has a dam (please note dam levels may vary dependent on rain) suitable for fishing and is teaming with native wildlife including Kangaroos, Fairy Wrens, Finches, Magpies, Kookaburras and Cockatoos. Pitch your tent or set up your van or camper and enjoy seeing native bird life and wildlife right at your doorstep. During the day you can do the local history tour or enjoy lunch at the historic Leyburn Hotel or the Leyburn General Store/Cafe. You may even be interest in walking some local bush walking or hiking tracks. At night you can enjoy toasting marshmallows on the campfire (wood provided) or star gazing. You need to be a fully self-contained with your own camping toilet, shower, and drinking water. We recommend 4WDs to access the property. The property features open, flat grassy areas peppered with trees. Some of the land is level and some is gently sloped and more suitable for tent camping.​ No pets please.

Very quiet location to camp, site was easy to get into and out. You don't have other campers on top of you, plenty of room to spread out. Would I camp there again, YES, I would!

Our 3rd year of staying here for the Historic Leyburn Sprints weekend. Uncrowded compared to the other camping/caravan locations for the weekend, Rachael spreads out the sites. Camping is around the dam in a mown paddock, sites are pretty level. We saw a number of roos, lots of birds and frog song. Must be fully self-contained, you can have fires and there was wood provided this year. About a 10-15 minute nice walk back into Leyburn itself or for the Sprints weekend there was a shuttlebus they left from across the road.

Love that you have so much space each camp site so not on top of each other. Super clean property and quiet and not that far from town. Camped here a few times and love it. Host's are lovely with great communication and super helpful and friendly. Everyone in Leyburn is lovely

Great spot for Leyburn Historic Sprints weekend. There is plenty of space between each site, so you didn't feel hemmed in. Spot 38 looks over the dam, and we enjoyed watching baby ducks paddle about. Ideal for a short walk to shop/pub in town, without camping in the town itself.

This location was perfect. Not crowded at all and so much lawn area to kick a ball with children. Our host Rachel was incredibly accommodating. Sites were well marked with numbers with heaps of space between camp sites. Only a short walk to town along a quiet roadside. Small fires allowed to roast your marshmallows and chickens to visit and also plenty of firewood provided by the host at no charge. We had a blast and would highly recommend you visit.

Love that each spot is large enough to have caravan, chairs spread out and car beside. Plenty of room. Great area for kid's to ride bikes as well. Bonus not being totally on-top of other camper's like in most caravan parks. Great directions to place which is very well kept. Host Rachel is lovely. Nice walk into town. Perfect spot camping for Leyburn Sprints and if you wait out side gate where cattle grid is the free little shuttle bus will pick you up and take you down to racing and then bring you back. Nice quiet place to camp highly recommend. Will camp there next time we go to races.

Site 30- Caravan or tent
Lovely quiet spot up on the top of a slight slope giving fantastic views over the whole pretty property, our site was huge with more than enough room to enable us to remain private. Our nearest neighbour was about 30 metres away and other campers were much further. Very quiet and peaceful and we would definitely recommend Racheal’s campsite.
