Positioned 800 metres above sea level amidst the sub-tropical rainforest of Woonoongoora – Lamington National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Binna Burra is centre stage to some of Australia’s most spectacular natural features. The unique isolation provides the perfect escape from the stresses of every day life and a chance to get back to basics, interact with nature and experience a freedom and sense of peace that few places can offer. Our campsite is located right on the doorstep to Lamington National Park and the entrance to most walking tracks. The nearby Tea House cafe is also open for all guests and features a small gift shop with basic supplies and retail goods. Camping options include campsites for up to 4 people and a limited number of powered drive-on sites suitable for small campervans. Sites are level pitches. No vehicle access is possible onto campsites, only on drive on sites. Tents and gear must be carried a short distance from the loading bay to pre-allocated sites.

Camp under the trees and the stars - on the doorstep of Lamington National Park. This campsite is suitable for pitching a small to medium sized dome tent. Sites are level pitches set within the forest. No vehicle access is possible onto the sites themselves. Tents and gear must be carried a short distance from the loading bay to pre-allocated sites. No power point is available for these sites. Enjoy nearby shared fire pits. Other communal campground facilites incude several cooking shelters featuring BBQ hot plates. There is also a microwave, fridge, and zip hot water located centrally. BYO utensils, cutlery and crockery.

Located along the entry road into the Rainforest campsite, our vehicle campsites are suitable for small camper-vans; small caravans; small camper-trailers; and roof top tents (less than 6.5m length - no drive through sites available - sites do not have a view) Please include details of your vehicle in comment section so we may asign a suitable site, or you can select a site from the map. Larger campertrailers, caravans and motorhomes are not suited to all of our sites. Please call Reservations to discuss site options. A 15 amp power point is available for these sites. Campsite amenities include hot showers; dish-washing facilities and coin-operated laundry. Enjoy nearby shared fire pits. Other communal campground facilites include several cooking shelters featuring BBQ hot plates. There is also a microwave, fridge, and zip hot water located centrally. BYO utensils, cutlery and crockery. A firm base and close proximity to vehicles means camping with a tent / swag on these sites is not recommended.

These private bunkrooms are suitable for groups of friends, families, and those seeking a convenient and cosy place to rest and recuperate between adventures in Lamington National Park. Each private bunkroom can accommodate up to 6 people, in 3 bunk beds. The bunkhouses boast high ceilings and large slatted windows. They also feature frosted windows near each bed, which let in fresh air and natural light. The private bunkrooms are located a short distance from the free campsite car parking area and cooking facilities, as well as the amenities building and Groom's Cottage Bushwalker's Bar. Bunkrooms also feature: 4 x USB charging ports + device shelf; Powered lighting; Sealed storage tubs for gear / food. No linen / bedding provided. Linen hire available when booking, or BYO (six single beds). Linen Hire must be done prior to arrival. Enjoy nearby shared fire pits. Other communal campground facilities include several cooking shelters featuring BBQ hot plates. There is also a microwave, fridge, and zip hot water located centrally. Beautiful camp site. A bit tight to get our 17.6 Jayco All-Terrain poptop in but managed okay. We were on site 54 the best for bigger vans I think. Beautiful views and stacks of walks to do. We were with our young kids so only did some of the shorter ones. But they were still spectacular. Camp is very clean, well maintained, teahouse is great. Highly recommend!

Very convenient campsite. Don't expect quiet sleep as everything is beside communal fire, but no amplified music at least and the fire was a great way to meet people. Loved having access to boiling water.

The tent camping is well located but can be a bit muddy when wet. Good kitchen facilities and BBQ area close by. Fabulous walking tracks and a few more signs with distance on them would be helpful.

We loved camping at Binna Burra for all the comforts of home away from home. Can’t beat hot showers, flushing toilets, kitchen facilities including microwave and fridge all whilst living amongst forest trees. Rise early in morning to hot cooked breakfast ready for amazing hiking trails with waterfalls and rock pools.

Just amazing and the views spectacular will be going again wild life was amazing but food there was over priced would be great if they we’re a little bit more family friendly with the menu and pricing as a single mum with just three kids to eat breakfast cost me well over $100 so make sure u bring lots of cash or your own food to eat

Such a magical place. There is a nice variety of accommodation options. I just had my swag and had a little spot to myself near the toilet block which was perfect. The vibe is really relaxed and friendly. There's a restaurant and cafe where you can have dinner and coffee the morning. But what really stands out is the quality of the walks. There's a nice variety of different walks different ranges and difficult to levels which are very accessible.

A convenient and comfortable place to stay. We arrived close to 5 PM, just before the service desk closed due to a road incident, and the staff still greeted us warmly. The campsite was easy to access, making it convenient to unload our camping gear, and the facilities were excellent. The bright kitchen, clean toilets, and dining area provided a sense of security. The kitchen offered instant hot water, though the dispenser was placed quite high—possibly to prevent children from using it—but it was a bit inconvenient. We enjoyed a comfortable three-day stay. The only downside was the large ants and cockroaches that were quite active at night. We even encountered a large snake one evening. If you enjoy being close to nature, this place is a fantastic starting point!

I loved the whole experience. Binna Burra Lodge is a fantastic place to get back to nature. Well maintained camping grounds with communal kitchen, laundry, hot showers. Communal camp fire pits. With magical views from the range, as well as the surrounding hiking trails

Fantastic stay, enjoyed the beautiful views and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Everything we needed was easily accessible and cleaned regularly. The maintenance man was incredible, awaiting us with lighting at the bbq out of the scheduled hours due to heavy cloud coverage. Amazing place and great hikes, be sure to pack insect repellent and beware of the leeches (they are plentiful). Overall an amazing time spent and great value, just wish we could have stayed longer

Was a super relaxed camping experience, if you are looking to camp with convenience I recommend coming to Binna Burra. It’s a good middle ground of waking up with the sounds of nature from your sleeping bag and having extra amenities and resources available
