Bindarah Downs Bush Camp
Highly recommend this wonderful place to relax and unwind. Shayne was very friendly and helpful and recommended a site to set up. It was great to hear all about the farm and his friendly animals. We chose a site overlooking the creek with easy access for the dogs and ourselves to enjoy the water as the weather was very hot. Loved that the camping area is limited to 10 sites and we were lucky the be sharing with only one other couple. There was a little bit of street noise during the day but this did not distract from the sound of the running creek and abundant bird calls. Thank you for sharing Bindarah Fark with us. We will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely love this place - clean, tidy and the running water is magical. Plenty for families to explore, horses and cows always making afternoon appearances. The hosts are friendly and kind, even went to the trouble of making the access even smoother for my SUV. We love this place and will be back :) thank you for sharing such an amazing piece of paradise with us.

A lovely spot near the creek. Shayne is a wonderful host. He even came down to check the welfare of all the campers after we went through a hail storm.
There was a bit of road noise during the day but the birdsong was abundant also. Road noise was no bother at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back.

Felt more like a caravan stop over then adventure get away, right next to a busy road , not much privacy between camp spot we had about 5meters distance was very packed and the camping area was small full of people kids crying and dogs, running creek was extremely low and full of algae. After spending 1.30hr we ended packing up and looking for a different spot on Hipcamp

Great spot next to the creek and the camp site is well maintained with a fire pit marking out each one.
This campsite is definitely dog friendly!
Host was very helpful on the first day and stopped by the day after we arrived to check all was going well. Great communication before and during our stay.
We stayed on the long weekend which also coincided with the last weekend of school holidays so it was busy and sites are roomy but next to one another for the most part. There is also some traffic noise (particularly during the day) as the main road wraps around the part of the camp site on the other side of the creek but this did not disturb our stay.
Would love to go back sometime when it is a little less busy.
Happy to recommend to anyone looking for an escape with amazing countryside and views from the property if you enjoy a walk.

There was a beautiful spring surrounding the campsite, with some private campsites tucked away. The running spring was shallow during this dry time of year but still beautiful to swim in, and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sounds of the running water outside our tent. The campsite was close to the road, which had the odd loud motorbike drive past, but being from the city, the site was a quiet change and still felt very secluded. The land was stunning and very well taken care of. Both Shayne and Kim where helpful and friendly hosts. We enjoyed our time here very much :) thank you.

Absolutely loved Bindarah Downs. We highly recommend staying at Shayne & Kim’s property for so many reasons. They have a creek you can camp right next to or you can still view the creek from higher ground. Shayne is definitely an awesome host, as he goes out of his way to guide you to their property and will even meet you at the gate to show you in. There are walks you can do throughout the property, horses, cows and the views surrounding the property are spectacular. It was our first experience staying at a Hip Camp, and it won’t be the last. It was an incredible way for us to unwind, disconnect and camp off grid for a couple of days. Thank you Shayne & Kim . Jamie & Chez

We had a beautiful stay at Bindarah Downs. It was very busy the first night, being a long weekend, however once a lot of people departed we could see what the fuss was about. We could’ve stayed longer as it was just so peaceful and pretty down by the creek.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Love that Shayne & Kim keep the number of campers minimum so we all have enough space from each other. Very affordable pricing. Kids would’ve loved a bit more interactions with the farm animals but we did encounter with one of the friendly steer and got to feed him.

Its an easy place to find and the campsite was well maintained and you had the option of shade or sun. The creek was flowing clearly and whilst only shin deep it was fine for an afternoon cool off. we'll visit again at some stage

Very nice and relaxing place to stay close to the creek. Spacious camp area and plenty room for the grandkids to run around and play. Shane and Kim were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely go back again.
