My little son and I camped for a week here, it was the best! The managers are kind, accommodating and have travel knowledge and good advice if wanted. The amenities and grounds are clean and very well kept. The locals in the park are very friendly. It's out of the hustle and bustle, but also close to everything, perfect place to relax. An all round beaut place to stay if you're in the area. My little son had a birthday while we were here and was made to feel very special by managers and residents ❤️ Thankyou for the best experience ✌️ Bec & Leo

Fantastic place to stay. The park was busy but you didn’t feel squashed in - plenty of space and good size lots. Facilities and grounds all keep very clean and tidy. Amenities were outstanding- the best we have had on our trip so far - hot water and great pressure. Sorry that we were not staying longer. Friendly and helpful staff.

The studio I stayed in was clean, cool and relaxing. Perfect stay for 2 people and possibly 2 children. Bathroom was clean and area felt cosy. Even in the humidity the room cooled down perfectly for a comfortable stay. Definitely stay there again.

We booked unpowered camp site, price is very reasonable. I liked the facility is very clean, from the toilet, shower and kitchen. We have everything we need. Very quiet. Well maintained, nice spot

🌴 A Hidden Gem Just Outside Townsville. I had an absolutely delightful stay at BIG4 Townsville Gateway Holiday Park. From the get-go, the staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in a breeze. Backing in my 13.5-meter rig was stress-free thanks to the generous site space, always a win when you're towing a big setup and not a "hot-shot" backer.
The facilities were spotless and clearly well looked after, and the park's peaceful setting, (backing onto a serene little stream) added a lovely touch of nature to the experience. The pool - let’s just say I spent more than a few blissful hours in there soaking up the sunshine and winding down.
Yes, you’re near the Bruce Highway, so there’s a light hum of road life in the background, but nothing that interrupted myrelaxation. In fact, being just 10 minutes from Townsville meant I had the best of both worlds, convenience and calm.
Highly recommend this park to fellow travellers. It’s comfortable, well-priced, and just the kind of spot that makes you want to extend your stay, which I did.

Parked under one of the magnificent mango trees many small mangoes some walnut size & others like Brazil nut size that fell on the roof of van at night. Very funny no complaints though but would be nice to be made aware the 1st night scared the hubby & I. Great place to chill out.

Good value for money caravan park. Generous sized sites.
Facilities are a bit tired but plenty of hot water and good pressure. Big shopping centre just 5 minutes away in the car and town centre can be reached in just over 10 minutes. Some sites are rather too close to the Bruce Highway and would be noisy but we were well away. Staff are friendly and helpful and a big effort is made to keep sites green even during extended dry periods. This is Townsville, so keeping the car and van secure, especially at night, is a must. However, plenty of things to do and see around Townsville.

We stayed there for 4 nights, it was pretty good, the location is good but it is little bit noisy because of construction work plus pretty close to the highway so we hear the trucks drive pass, I thought the curlew would be annoying but technically they went that annoying.
The services was really good, they helped us and they are really helpful 😀 👍
The place we set up camp was amazing, near the toilets plus Block A was really good, had everything you need so well done, hope to come here again
