Bellwood Homestead is a small, peaceful countryside campground just minutes off the Bruce Highway and ideally positioned between the Mary Valley and the Sunshine Coast hinterland. With only four spacious campsites set within one paddock, you’ll enjoy wide open skies, rural views across neighbouring dairy farmland, and mountain sunsets that glow purple in the evening light. It’s quiet, simple country camping — without the crowds of large holiday parks. The Barn – Our restored barn is open for all guests to enjoy. It is the perfect place to relax, cook, unwind or escape the weather. Inside you’ll find: • Fridge & freezer • BBQ • Kettle • Lounge area • Table tennis • Foosball • Communal fire pit nearby A free washing machine is available (one load per campsite per day). THE PERFECT PLACE TO EXPLORE - Bellwood is ideally located to explore the best of the Mary Valley, Sunshine Coast and surrounding hinterland. Spend your days: • Climbing Mount Cooroora (Pomona Mountain) for panoramic views • Swimming at Booloumba Creek’s crystal-clear waterholes • Visiting Kenilworth Bakery for their famous giant donuts • Exploring waterfalls and scenic country drives through the hinterland • Mountain biking on nearby trails • Riding the historic Valley Rattler steam train • Enjoying relaxed pub lunches in charming country towns • Taking day trips to Noosa, Rainbow Beach and the Sunshine Coast Then return to your peaceful campsite for an evening fire under the stars. 🎉 PRIVATE BOOKINGS AVAILABLE Bellwood Homestead can also be hired exclusively for small family reunions, birthdays and relaxed country gatherings. Site D is set upon the high point of a slightly sloping grassy paddock. It looks out to the west over a picturesque dairy farm, sunset and blue mountains. It is the flattest of all our sites and you shouldn't need any levelling here. You will have access to the barn with plenty of seating as well as the communal fire pit. There is a table tennis table, BBQ and fridge in the barn. We do allow fires at your site, provided they are contained off the ground and there are no active fire restriction’s. We also sell 20kg firewood bags for $15 per bag.

**PLEASE NOTE - Our SHOWER FACILITY is an OPEN AIR bucket shower. Water needs to be carried to the shower in order for it to work. Site C is set upon the high point of a slightly sloping grassy paddock. It looks out to the west over a picturesque dairy farm, sunset and blue mountains. It is generally flat but you may require some levelling depending on the size of your setup. You will have access to the barn with plenty of seating as well as the communal fire pit. There is a table tennis table, BBQ and fridge in the barn. We do allow fires at your site, provided they are contained off the ground and there are no active fire restriction’s. We also sell 20kg firewood bags for $15 per bag.

**PLEASE NOTE - Our SHOWER FACILITY is an OPEN AIR bucket shower. Water needs to be carried to the shower in order for it to work. Site A is set upon the low point of a slightly sloping grassy paddock. If the weather is or has been wet it is unsuitable. If you book this site and it is raining I will give you a refund. However, when the sun is shining, it looks out to the west over a picturesque dairy farm, sunset and blue mountains. It is slightly sloped, so you will need to ensure you have levelling ramps to maintain a level set up. You will have access to the barn with plenty of seating as well as the communal fire pit. There is a table tennis table, BBQ and fridge in the barn. We do allow fires at your site, provided they are contained off the ground and there are no active fire restriction’s. We also sell 20kg firewood bags for $15 per bag.

When you book Bellwood exclusively, your group has sole access to the campground and barn — a relaxed farm setting designed for bringing family and friends together. At the heart of the property is our restored barn — a rustic, welcoming space where everyone naturally gathers. Whether it’s long shared meals, birthday cake, board games with the kids, or simply sitting back with a drink while the sun sets, the barn becomes the hub of your weekend. THE BARN During your exclusive stay, the barn is yours to enjoy. Including the following facilities; • BBQ • Fridge & freezer • Kettle • TV lounge area • Table tennis • Speaker • Communal fire pit nearby It’s also a beautiful backdrop for relaxed family photos and milestone celebrations. THE FARM SETTING Your group will have exclusive access to: • Entire camping paddock with rural views • Mountain sunsets • Walking track around the property • Large fire pit for evening gatherings Maximum capacity: 24 guests This is a working rural property with livestock, open space and a dam located on site. Children must be supervised at all times. BELLWOOD MAKES A GREAT BASE FOR COUNTRY EXPLORING. Nearby you can: • Climb Mount Cooroora (Pomona Mountain) • Explore nearby waterfalls and walking tracks • Explore scenic hinterland drives & towns • Mountain bike local trails • Visit country markets • Take day trips to Noosa, Sunshine Coast or Rainbow Beach Then return to your own quiet patch of countryside. EVENTS & MUSIC Relaxed private gatherings are welcome and speakers are permitted; however: • Music must remain at a respectful level • Quiet hours begin at 9:30pm • Noise must be significantly reduced after this time Bellwood is not suited to large party-style events. BOND A refundable bond of $500 is required for exclusive hire bookings. The bond will be returned provided: • Guest numbers do not exceed 24 • Quiet hours are respected • No damage occurs • Property is left clean and tid

Perfect little getaway area! Really enjoyed the eclectic amenities and everything we needed was available if we needed it. Had some lovely little neighbours in the pigs and goats and our host Maree provided us with great information to enjoy our stay.

Lovely host and place to stay. Clean toilet and great recreational area with games, tv and bbq. Albert and skinny (pigs) were very welcoming. highly recommend to stop in with many things to do around the area and on the homestead 30 mins to Noosa

We stayed at Bellwood Farm Stay as a family and absolutely loved it. The grounds are quiet, spacious, and genuinely relaxing — proper farm stay vibes. Maree is an awesome host and makes sure your stay is comfortable and stress free. Our daughter had a great time. A particular favourite was the Foosball Table in the barn, which was the source of a lot of competitive family fun and laughter during our stay! We highly recommend Bellwood Farm Stay for families who want a genuine rural escape. We will be back.

​If you’re looking for that authentic country camping vibe, this is it. There are so many friendly animals around, which was such a highlight, and the lakefront view is absolutely stunning—perfect for just zoning out and relaxing. ​The grass is perfectly manicured, making the whole site feel incredibly clean and comfortable. I was also obsessed with the kitchen; it’s so beautifully designed that even cooking felt like a "vibe." ​Most importantly, the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. From the facilities to the scenery and the hospitality, everything was spot on. I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommended!

I loved my 2 night stay and the little extras like a fridge,fresh water,BBQ and an undercover place to relax made it excellent value.The host Maree was very helpful with ideas on Local activities,services and places to visit,I would definitely go and stay again,thank you.

This was our second time at Bellwood and I'm sure we will be back again. Maree, Mike and their kids are always so accommodating and welcoming. As per usual the place was spotless. We loved watching the new lambs too.

What a great place to stay! The sites are spacious, the hosts are absolutely lovely and super friendly but they still let you be without feeling like they’re watching your every move! Our daughter loved feeding & seeing the farm animals. We stayed on site A with a RTT and swag and didn’t find the tiny slope an issue at all. Loved the cute barn & the amenities were so clean. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant camp! Marie is an excellent host, warm welcoming and genuinely interested in making the camp comfortable. Great bucket shower, regularly serviced loo, historic barn which was great for board games and just relaxing. Unfortunately due to a fire ban we couldn't use the communal firepit but it would have been magic under Marie's fairy lights. And were lucky enough to see a 3 day old lamb. Would absolutely recommend.

Bellwood Homestead Campground was an awesome place to stay, especially with small kids. The grounds were enclosed, keeping them contained, and adjacent the animal pens, giving them plenty to look at (they loved feeding the sheep). The Barn was a great bit of shade complete with handy amenities and good entertainment. And all a stone's throw from some of the quaint little Mary Valley towns. Maree was very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend a night or two put there.

What a great little camp! Thank you Maree for extending your home to give roamers like me a safe place to stop and reset. Large sites but small numbers with only 4sites. I was lucky enough to have the whole place to myself, lots of quirky little features with everything you should need. Great for an overnight stop over conveniently minutes off the highway or a base to explore the region.

We loved our stay here! The kids had fun playing table tennis in the beautiful barn and were especially delighted to get up close to the piglets. Maree and her partner were so welcoming and have created a great campsite. We will be back!

We loved camping at Bellwood! We really appreciated the clean toilet and access to fresh water. The barn was also beautiful and the kettle was great for making washing up dishes easy. The animals were super cute and the hosts were so friendly. They even let us borrow their axe and fire pit. The camping spots are easy to find and the sunsets are magical!

Great place to stay. Convenient location not far from the highway. We were only passing through but would have loved to stay longer to explore the beautiful area. Maree and Michael were very welcoming to their property. My kids loved seeing the piglets and the sheep.

What a fantastic spot. We enjoyed our stay at Bellwood Homestead. The barn was great, especially with the added kettle for coffee in the morning, and ping pong for the kids. The farm animals were a highlight for the kids too. Hosts were so welcoming of our two dogs which was so nice, as we don’t go anywhere without them! Thank you for having us

From the moment we arrived at Maree's farm the adventure began. Our trip was full of smiles,true down to earth chats and lots of giggles. Maree's and her family have really hit the nail on the head with Everything on the property. First we discovered the piglets and sheep then the amazing bucket shower...it is very groovy indeed. Just when we thought things couldn't get much better we wandered over to the heritage Barn full of amazing antiques, a photography exhibition of the history of the valley and even a working trypewriter. The magic truly begins next to the fire when the fairy lights come on, there's plenty of room for everyone to sit and watch the stars, roast a marshmallow and remember what real time with family and friends really is. It's the little touches that make a big difference when you stay somewhere. I'm happy to share 2 days was not long enough to be able to notice and appreciate them all so we will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your peice of paradise with us, it is just divine!

This place is really amazing. Neat tidy and the setting was absolutely amazing. From the views to the barn house that lights up at night with string lighting and comfy farmhouse style. The farm setting had a real relaxing and hospitable feel. Please stay here you’ll love it.
