20 acres secluded in the rolling hills of the Atherton Tablelands on the top of the Gillies. A farm stay awaits with access to shower and toilet facilities this newly opened powered camping property is the perfect place to base yourself while you enjoy the local tourist attractions. We require 24 hours notice for camping- but send a message I’m sure we can fit you in Tours of the farm are available on request including hand feeding cows and collecting coloured eggs from our chickens. While pets are welcome we ask they are restrained at all times. We allow pets at the site for $10 per pet/per night. If you would like to bring a pet, please add the Pet Fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process. Note on entrance road a few campers with vans have asked- I am not a caravanner so I’m not sure what’s important to you - It is public road to our gate - the last 400m or so is gravel. - eastern connection road is single lane bitumen. - The large school bus terminates at the intersection of Adams and eastern connection.

Lovely peaceful farmstay surrounded by cows and chooks, and it was so good to hear roosters crowing in the morning. Not to mention fresh laid eggs! The weather didn't allow us to have a campfire unfortunately - maybe next time. A nice short drive from Cairns with plenty of contact pre-visit.

Great spot, camping on a cleared paddock in a quiet hilly area. Good clean shower and toilet facilities. Limited shade so best to byo. A couple of other campers were sharing the paddock of approx 2 acres but had plenty of room. Had fun patting the cows and feeding the chooks. Recommended if you're just getting started camping and want to ease your way into it, testing your camping setup or if you just want the feeling of camping without the hassle of making your own toilet and shower. Good for a couple of nights. Take a good book, comfortable chair and relax.

Absolutely loved staying here. The spot was beautiful and lovely, even despite the rain haha. Host/family was friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our time at Barrine Farm stay. The rolling hills in the background, the small dam with swimming ducks, it was so serene. Just the spot we needed to relax for a peaceful trip. Our daughter had a wonderful time saying hello to the resident cows and chickens and also enjoyed watching the birds and ducks around. The facilities were kept well too and were easy to access from our campsite. The logs for fire were also a bonus! Emma and Steve were so lovely and welcoming, true hospitable locals! We would've stayed another night but couldn't due to personal reasons. Just means another trip in the future is due!

Had the best girls weekend here, so peaceful and great atmosphere, couldn’t recommend it enough. The facilities were a 10/10 and Will definitely be returning again one day and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway. Thank you Emma for having us!

Fantastic! Great location with easy access and well kept facilities. The hosts are absolutely fantastic and we really enjoyed being included in feeding the cows and collecting the chicken eggs. Better signage at the start of the driveway and another firepit would be appreciated. We loved our trip! would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

Camped in the 2wd van and had no troubles with access. Had access to electricity, toilets and showers were clean and close by. Woke up to cows and chickens. Great dam on the property and kayaks available. Good location if exploring the tablelands and excellent price compared to other spots in the region!

Friendly, welcoming hosts. Great place for kids. Large grassed area. Good amenities with hot shower. Kids had a great time paddling the kayaks on the dam, feeding the cows and collecting eggs. Firewood provided. Highly recommended.
