Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife. Choose the unique modern self-contained Lodge or bring your caravan/camper/rooftop/swag/tent and book a camp site. There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firepit available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (Small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered. In addition there are 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firepit available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firepits - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). Hot showers are available near the dam camping area for a small fee. There is no option to add power here. Strictly unpowered. Bring your kayaks, stand up paddle boards and other floating devices to enjoy in the dam, Push Bikes to ride the trails, bat and ball for a friendly game of cricket and a banana lounge to enjoy the peace and quiet. Boat Ramp, Small bank area for fishing, 5klm from the ocean mouth, Fires permitted (in firepits only), Pet friendly (strictly on leash or in enclosure), great swimming (in the dam), Pushbike riding enjoyed, a perfect place for a family and young and mature aged couples to enjoy a holiday or a getaway on the weekend.

Sites close to the River and boat ramp (small river side fishing area also). A plus is, you will not be tripping over your neighbours ropes! Park your caravan, set up your camp, in the direction you feel is best for you. -  There are, Septic toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Camp kitchen with Drinking water and sink, Table and chairs, Fire Box  (full facilities such as BBQ, Microwave, Kettle and Toaster at the Camp Kitchen near the dam), Firebox - You can bring your own wood or purchase it from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside as it may be an animal habitat). Hot showers available near the dam area $2 per 4min along with a Washing Machine $3 per load. There is no option to add power here these sites are strictly unpowered. You can run small generators until 7pm. We also offer bait for purchase. Bagged ice can be purchased from the Rosedale Convenience Store or the Rosedale Country Pub on your way in. Communal vegetable and herb garden near the dam. Vans are fully covered by a fixed awning with a solid back, in between them is Fridge/freezer, Light, small Webber BBQ, Camp gas cooker, Cutlery, China, Pots and Pans, Cookware, All Linen including Towels, Pillows and Doonas, Firepit, Table and chairs. Great spot for camping! We had come up from Brisbane for a trip to Bundaberg and it was well worth the trip. There’s plenty of room and the property is very well maintained! Huge thank you to the hosts for taking our last minute booking! I hope to come back again!

Gorgeous spot off the beaten track that gives you that far from civilisation vibe but has access to the creature comforts is you so desire. A serene picturesque location with beautifully maintained grounds that anyone from first timers to seasoned off grinders can enjoy. Absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait for the opportunity to come back. Thank you to our wonderfully hospitable hosts for making our stay so enjoyable!

Absolutely beautiful! Really peaceful and quiet, there were kangaroos all around which was amazing. Facilities were great, really nice cooking area and BBQ! It is by a river so definitely take some mosquito/sandfly spray with you. Great location surrounded by some beautiful beaches, but honestly most of the time we just wanted to stay at the creek and enjoy it. Everyone working there was so welcoming and friendly and really went out of their way!

Excellent place! We were only there for one night however the grounds were nice and flat and amenities were adequate. Nice river to do some fishing and boating. The hosts were lovely and very accomodating. Would definitely come back!

Greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Very helpful on the services available. Great location for pets and family. Multiple showers & toilets located close to you. Lots of kangaroo’s & Ducks, very scenic of an afternoon. They have a boat hire for the day, dam to swim in just in front of the powered sites. Affordable powered sites, we will definitely be back to stay longer. Highly recommend this spot for your next camp trip.

You need to put this place on your bucket list. Graham, Lyn and Tony are great hosts and easy to get along with. Midskinrick camping is very peaceful great fishing and crabbing. Great place for big rigs and roof topers. We will be back. Glenn Gayle Lahey.

Awesome place such nice grass sites right by the river having, the dam was so nice to cool of in with kayaks supplied and was awesome being able to have a cold or hot shower, owners were so nice and accomodating supplied firewood as well and showed us where everything we needed was and showed us right to our campsite. Will definitely be coming back highly recommend

What a gem of a campsite! Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back again. Fantastic spot for fishing especially if you have a boat and a beautiful spot for the nature lovers with an abundance of wildlife day and night to watch. Our hosts were just the best people and so helpful and obliging. Looking forward to being back here in June for another 2 weeks. Thanks again for a wonderful and relaxing stay, it was great spending Christmas and seeing in 2025 here. 🩷

Had an absolute awesome time, Graham, Lyn and Tony are genuinely great people and hosts, Lyn even helped out my teenage daughter when a woman issue arose and no nearby shop open, thanks Lyn !! . The whole place has a relaxed and easy going vibe about it and we will 100% be returning campers. Awesome spot guys 🤙

Graham, Lyn and Tony are wonderful hosts, we had car issues on the day we were arriving so we were late and they were waiting for us and excited to see our fur babies lol, I had made a mistake with the booking and they were only too happy to fix it up and find us the best place to setup. Toliets are easy to use and the surrounding areas are well kept, we will definitely be back it’s such a beautiful place to unwind.

We just stayed here for one night & loved everything about it. Beautiful campground, toilets, showers, lots of space & kangaroos. Tony & Lyn are really nice people. Would definitely recommend ☺️

Graham and the guys were lovely, we felt welcome at every stage. Even the long term residents were great. We had prawns and mud crab. Very quite. We will be back

What a hidden gem! Really spacious sites with freedom to choose where you want to set up. Lovely, clean main camp kitchen with all toilets cleaned and serviced daily. The grounds bins were also emptied daily and there was plenty of potable water available. I found 1 shower near the main camp kitchen but there were apparently more at the lodge. There was wildlife galore! We saw 30+ kangaroos, turtles, rabbits, and a million different birds. The fishing and crabbing were awesome too with plenty to catch. They had a great little boat ramp too. Definitly bring some shade with you if you come in summer, but the dam is wonderful (and clean and safe) to cool off in with plenty of toys supplied. Firewood available for $15 per 20kg or so. LOVELY HOSTS! Thank you to Lyn, Tony, and Graham; we will definitely be back!
