Off grid property on 310 acres of beautiful secluded bush. Just over an hour's drive from Darwin CBD and close to Litchfield National Park via 4WD track Come explore, relax and pitch your tent. Plenty of shady places to camp along the wet season creek. Must have own amenities and leave no trace Gather your friends or family and head out of town to get away from it all for a night or two...Sleep under the stars, set up camp or bring your camper to unwind and unplug as you reconnect with nature. Enjoy a bushwalk, a campfire or a swim in the wet season creek or just put your feet up with a book and a cold drink in Darwin's rugged bushland. Large camp sites and caravans welcome. Dog friendly. There are no amenities here, so suits self-sufficient campers who leave no trace. Please enter property via Peacock Rd, Darwin River, not Batchelor

Rum Jungle Ridge was great! Peaceful and quiet, had the place to ourselves. We only had 1 X caravan and a couple of camper trailers but sites 1 & 2 had plenty of room for a larger group. The dogs loved it too! We'll be going back.

Absolutely perfect spot. The creek was just beautiful we had a really peaceful stay. The hosts were extremely lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome camp site. We would definitely stay again. A real bush experience. Very peaceful. The chorus of kookaburras added to the atmosphere. Absolutely loved it.

Very peaceful. We had the place to ourselves. Ian is a friendly and hospitable host. Make sure to drive in as per the instructions and not from the Batchelor end!

Site 3 - Rum Jungle Ridge
Attended camp site 5 with the family and dog. Had a nice quiet time with walks up and down the dried creek bed. This is a nice place to sit back and re-charge your batteries.

We camped in a camper, lovely bush block, it was secluded with room for a fire. Easy to follow directions. Would stay again :-)

Camping by the creek, we had the privacy and site to ourselves. Kids loved playing in small puddles of water and sand, fire at night. Thanks Ian and Michelle for your hospitality, clear directions to Litchfield and firewood. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful property. Ian and Michelle made us feel very welcome. We ended up camping at site 1&2 which was beautiful by the creek, big and private. We will definitely be back, next time with mates!

If you want privacy and serenity then this is the place to camp! A secluded beautiful bush setting by a cooling creek. So private, didn’t see one other person during our stay. Hosts Michelle and Ian are a lovely welcoming couple who offered some mozzie coils when we forgot ours. We feel privileged to be allowed to experience this lovely property. Will definitely be back.

Great site. Very private and secluded. Plenty of firewood around. About 30 mins drive to Litchfield but track is 4WD only. Ian and Michelle are great hosts. Thanks for a great stay.

Unique stay! Big camps in the jungle, such a different change of pace to the usual campsites offered up. Stay in rural NT and enjoy the serenity.

Really great to have our own dedicated part of the river - Ian and his partner were lovely. Recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful and private get away - Make sure you bring your mossie coils/thermacell if you're next to the river! Thank you!

What a great place ! We just spent two days enjoying the creek ! Perfect during those hot days !! Ian and Michelle were so welcoming and took good care of us ! We’ll definitely go back !!

Great campsite. Ian and Michelle very friendly and helpful. Almost lost the caravan to a bushfire on the property, but Ian did a great job keeping our van safe.

Ian, Michelle and their family were wonderful hosts! I had a small gathering of friends for my birthday and we enjoyed being off the grid and away from others. Ian and Michelle were extremely welcoming and very helpful. We just need a better wet to keep the creek flowing! Thanks for having us. Meg
