Relax on Bastin is situated on a quiet no-through road with Howard Springs and Coolalinga shopping centres only 5 minutes drive and Darwin city only 30 minutes​. The property has ample level space and shaded sites for tent, camper or caravan parking. There are fruit trees and seasonal tropical plants including bananas, pawpaw, pineapple and passionfruit. There is also a seasonal herb and veggie garden with chilli, basil and mint. Power and hot water are available from the ablution block with a toilet, shower and a washing machine along with a covered communal area including a gas BBQ, fire pits and BBQ plate for campfire cooking. A short 5-minute drive from shopping centres in Coolalinga and 10 minutes from the Gateway shopping centre in Palmerston. Relax on Bastin is centrally located and it serves as a great base to explore nearby Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks and only half an hour from the Jumping Crocs in the Adelaide River.

Relax on Bastin is situated on a quiet no-through road with Howard Springs and Coolalinga shopping centres only 5 minutes drive away and Darwin city only 30 minutes. Power and water are available from the ablution block with toilet, shower and a washing machine along with a basic camp kitchen, gas BBQ, fire pits and BBQ plate for campfire cooking.  Quiet well behaved dogs are allowed, but please keep them on a lead. Sorry, no cats.  A short 5-minute drive from shopping centres in Coolalinga and 10 minutes from the Gateway shopping centre in Palmerston. Centrally located it serves as a great base to explore nearby Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks.

RELAX ON BASTIN
Quite, we had the place to ourselves. Tim is very communicative, was very happy for us to extend our stay to 7 days. Dog friendly was a bonus for us.

Beautiful spot close enough to everything but with a country , bush atmosphere. Big sites with only us and another very quiet family camping. Amenities were clean and were all that was needed. Tim was very accommodating, letting adjust our booking at the last minute. I would suggest ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as neighbouring dogs barked quite a bit some nights. Other than that a great place to camp close to Darwin. Thanks Tim !!

This site has been very relaxing, central to Darwin and shopping centres but still close to tourist attractions , Tim was very helpful in extending our stay , our only criticism would be with the power, only10 amp plugs when most vans have 15 amp , even tho there are some extension leads provided its not ideal. Having a washing machine to use free of charge is a plus.

Tim's site had good amenities and was secure. We stayed there for 3 nights, not far from Darwin. Have already recommended this site to other people.

Very handy to get to all the places we wanted to see. Very quiet except for one night that the neighbours dogs barked all night. Shower, toilet and washing machine. We hooked up to power and water. Shopping centres very close by. The urge to water everything and keep trees alive was strong but wasn’t sure if water was in short supply. Have already recommended to fellow travelers.

Large grass camping areas, facilities are clean and modern. No hot water but not an issue up here. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

So relaxing here. Plenty of room for our big bus & trailer. Peter the care taker was very polite and welcoming. Toilet/shower was always clean. Shade sites, power & water. Only 3 other campers here. Highly recommend, loved our stay here.

Great private site with lots of room.If power needed make sure you have long leads in 15amp and 10amp as well.

We had great stay. Excellent facilities. Was close to Darwin and surrounds but felt like you were out in the bush. We had power and water hookup. Highly recommend!

Great vibe and Tim was very generous, providing some home grown produce for campers to share. Bathroom was great - showers are cold and only one person can use the combined shower & toilet at a time. But we didn’t have to wait.

Very nice spot. Excellent facilities- power, water, loo, shower. Only four spots. Tim is a great host, even gave us eggs and home grown fruit. Strongly recommend.

My family and I really enjoyed relaxing at Barra on Bastin for 6 nights. Tim was really friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a nice spot with power and water. The location was fantastic, out of the Darwin business, but really close to good convenient shopping and nice sites like Berry Springs / Territory Wildlife Park, Howard Springs Reserve, Crocodylus Park etc. We’d definitely stay again! Thanks Tim 👍🏻
