Secure parking for caravans/RV's on 2.5 acres in the quiet suburb of Marlow Lagoon, Palmerston. The block has ample space for any size RV and offers a secure place to sleep inside the 6ft fence perimeter. The block is situated next to a railway line with a walking track alongside to a local saltwater creek. All sites have access to communal fire pit and water hose. Some sites have power available if needed. We currently do not offer toilets, showers or laundry facilities, so this site is suitable for self-contained campers. Approximately a 5-minute drive to Palmerston City, 20 minutes to Darwin City and 15 minutes to Coolalinga.

Recommend to anyone. Best place to stay in Darwin. Safe as, quiet as, close to shops. Camp hosts were awesome. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Darwin.

Callan and Roxanne wonderful hosts. Very clean and tidy. Only a short drive to shopping centres a palmarston and about 18k to Darwin city

Railside camp has been a great stay. Callan and Roxy are more than welcoming and it’s been a pleasure to stay. Close enough to the city but with a feeling you are a world away. Couldn’t recommend more. Don’t be put off by it being by the railway. Trains come maybe once or twice a day and you don’t have any noise here at night!

Callan and Roxanne are friendly and helpful hosts. Quiet neighbourhood and a great location as it’s a quick drive into the city, also close to the shops and local swimming pool

Awesome place to stay, quiet, safe, dog friendly and close to everywhere in Darwin. We had a powered site, water is available to fill your tanks, our site was close enough to reach to fill up so we didn’t have to move our van over the week we stayed. Reasonably priced, nice owners, we’ll stay again! Just be prepared for the midges at 4:30 each arvo. ** The owners have a lovely, small dog that has free run of the property, so maybe something to be mindful of if you have a reactive dog.

Perfect spot to base yourself to explore Darwin and surrounds. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Only down fall was the bloody midgies.

Perfect spot to explore Darwin and surrounds. Very friendly hosts, nice level spots and access to power and water if needed. Secure compound and feel safe as houses. Hosts are amazing and friendly atmosphere here at Railside campgrounds.

Stayed here for a week while taking a short break from travelling to work. Callan was very hospitable and more than happy to help with any requests - he offered use of his scan tool if our car had any engine lights, and he also helped me out tightening a nut on my espresso machine to spec with a torque wrench. The site is level and you have the entire backyard to set up in, with more than enough room for any type of traveller. The location is superb, being ideally located close to Palmerston for shops (and for the free public pool) and easy access in to Darwin (max 20 mins to get anywhere in). A very safe, quiet spot, would highly recommend!
