Attentiveness to detail lacking, toilet not cleaned including full to overflowing rubbish bin , handbasin blockages and no wash down hose for rinsing of dump cassette
Minor fixes requiring minimum effort would make the stay in this private central location top notch

Great little spot close to Darwin. Heaps of shade amongst the trees, nice clean toilet block. Only down the road from Darwin river tavern which has a great new pool to cool off in. Good communication from Georgina, would happily come back.

Was my first Hipcamp experience, was an easy process. We were lucky enough to find the perfect site under a shady tree. Easy walk to the toilet (may just need a vacant/occupied sign near the entrance so others know you are in there) with a view of the paddock and bush below. Approx 45mins to Darwin City, with plenty to see closer by.
Great communication and Georgina was very accomodating allowing us to leave a bit later in the day. Would recommend to others

Overall this place was good but it did seem a little different to the photos online. I get that wet season photos and dry season photos differ quite a bit though. It was very quiet and easy to access and only 10 mins from Berry Springs and an IGA which was great. Toilet was handy and we got a shady site but there were really only 3 with shade and we had to run a double hose to reach the water hookup. Seemed a little untidy to us and there as a bit of rubbish around. Didn’t meet the owners but they were kind enough to refund us the second night when we had to leave early. Overall, a safe and quiet stay but perhaps a bit overpriced and I think photos could reflect the property a bit better.

Great location to visit Litchfield national park, Berry Springs. Good sized sites and easy connections. Sunset from the hill was magical.

Great location close to Darwin, Darwin river tavern, Berry Springs, Crab Claw, Dundee Beach & Litchfield for day trips. Funky flush toilet with views! Power & water hookup. Lots of space- only 4 vans first night, 2 the next. Fire pits. Beautiful sunset views.

Loved this place!! And we had it to ourselves which was even better!
Sunset is beautiful go watch.
Water pressure is amazing.
Toilet available and a dump point.

Great spot to explore the Berry Springs and surrounding areas. Only 30 ks to Darwin. Water and power are no issue there ate 2 great shady spots

Not a bad spot to pull up with water, power handy and toilet just nearby. Not a bad location to Berry Springs and Darwin River. Good value for our last minute weekend away. When all the parks were booked up.

What a fabulous sunset from the loo!! Most impressive beautifully shady unfortunately we had a tyre blowout which changed our plans for second night but Georgina was most helpful. She recommended berry spring which was awesome an absolute must

We loved Darwin river fern farm it’s a beautiful place would recommend it to everyone peaceful and safe place to camp (we where the only ones here that’s because it’s coming into wet season) and the power and water supply was great close to Berry springs and Litchfield for swimming we will definitely be back in the future

With the whole place to ourselves, Darwin River Fern felt like our very own private oasis. The kids climbed trees and kicked the footy from sun up and sundown. Sitting and watching the colours change over the lower paddock at sunset was beautiful. The loo has the best view. You can see all the hard work going into the regeneration of this land and we can’t wait to be able to visit again and see the changes. To boot the location of this super Hipcamp is so accessible to top tourist destinations. Thanks for having us guys..

Absolutely a brilliant cheap stay here at Darwin River Fern Farm, one of the cheapest we have come across whilst travelling full time in the road for the last 6 months 👌🙌🧡
Harry & Georgina have done such a fantastic job so far to the place and talking with them they sound like we really need to watch this space (well we will be for sure)
They are talking about adding a shower block to their hipcamp in a style that is similar to Bullara Station located in WA so rustic outback style.
Can’t wait to see what they do!!!
We unfortunately only stayed one night just to get a bit of washing done, soak up the air conditioning as it’s quite warm here atm in the NT and fill up our water tanks to head into Litchfield National Park and stay a few nights there.
The sunsets here are just spectacular and would you believe even better from the loo that looks overlooks it, so hold off until sunset 🤣
Not far into Berry Springs to cool off and stock up on a few supplies at the local IGA / bottleshop a short drive down the road.
We will definitely definitely definitely be back here when we come back to the NT, very highly recommend this one.

This is a lovely secluded spot with power and water and a dump point and a toulet with an amazing view. It was great to have a quiet spot so close to Litchfield np and berry springs that allowed pets. Thank you so much for a lovely time.
