Just minutes off the Pacific Highway, Ridgeline is the perfect stopover without the detour — ideal for large caravans, motorhomes and touring setups, and equally suited to 4WD adventurers, rooftop campers and tents seeking space and privacy. Wake to sunrises with kangaroos or cattle grazing nearby, and end your day with golden sunsets and star-filled skies. Ridgeline is a genuine working cattle farm offering rolling grazing country, pockets of native bushland and the relaxed rhythm of rural life. Explore grassy hills and natural bush corridors home to native birds and wildlife. Whether you prefer an open site or a more private pocket, there’s room to spread out and enjoy the property your way. You may notice livestock nearby and the occasional cow pat underfoot. During drier seasons, paddocks may not always be perfectly manicured — our cattle are our priority. What you’ll experience is authentic country Australia: space, simplicity and fresh air. Feeling adventurous? Walk “Big Hill” for incredible 360° views at sunrise or sunset. Enjoy a warm, beautifully styled interior, private outdoor space and your own fire pit under twinkling festoon lights — a boutique farm-stay escape. A tar driveway is being installed for easier access to the ridgeline, and new toilet and shower amenities are in development.Welcome to Ridge line camping, where you can explore over 106 acres of pristine land and experience breathtaking views that stretch from the great lakes in the south to Hallidays point, Crowdy head, and Laureton in the north. Elevated over 600 feet above the surrounding land, our property offers the best views of the area. Conveniently located just off the Pacific Highway, 3 hours drive north of Sydney and just under an hour's drive south of Port Macquarie, access to our site is straightforward, and we can accommodate some of the largest set-ups. Stay for a night on your way through or spend a few nights exploring the property and the local area. Wake up to spectacular sunrises and the sight of kangaroos hopping around, and go to sleep with stunning sunsets around you. We're only 15 minutes' drive from Forster/Tuncurry, 10 minutes to Hallidays Point, and 15 minutes to Taree. While you're here, there are plenty of local attractions to keep you busy. Take on the challenge of walking "Big Hill" for panoramic views, hike, 4WD or bike through Talawahl National Park, or try out the brand new downhill biking trails and ramps at Kiwarric State Forest. Enjoy a day of fun and adventure at the Big Buzz Fun Park or Clarendon Horse Riding. Experience the pristine fishing, boating, jet skiing, and swimming waters that our coastline is famous for, or book a dolphin and whale watching cruise with Amaroo. If you're up for a thrilling adventure, dive with Grey Nurse sharks with Forster Dive Centre. There are also various local markets and fun fairs during peak periods. On New Year's Eve, you can enjoy the fireworks from multiple different locations up the coast from the comfort of your campsite. Pets are welcome, and boats, jet skis, and motorbikes are all allowed. Please note that our sites are for self-contained campers only, and you must have your toilet, power, and drinking water. Don't forget to take your rubbish with you, and split dry firewood is available from $20 per bag. We now have a Portable toilet on site rented out at $5 per person per night. We do have a shower and toilet block coming soon to make your camping experience that little bit better! Watch this space for that. While a 4WD is recommended, it's not essential, as there are multiple locations and access points available. We can also provide you with a tour of the summit of the property with our ATV with advanced notification. Also for those experienced 4WD owners out there that are not towing and would like to sleep at the summit, please reach out to me via the App so I can make this happen.
