Redbank Way is a 1500 acre cattle property & we welcome campers to experience rugged tranquility of our spectacular property. There are five major camping locations with many other camping locations that you may like to choose for yourself. You may choose to camp near the cattle yards close to the creek, near the horses or high up on the hill to catch the views of the property. 4WD vehicles & high clearance caravans are recommended and able to camp throughout the property and are recommended. 2WD wheel drive vehicles are able to camp at locations earlier in the property. Toilet & hot shower available. Dogs are permitted but please discuss with us first. as they may need to be on a lead. Please ensure you do not follow Google Maps as you will get lost. NOTE: When we are at the farm there little to no mobile reception. Your booking is confirmed and you are very welcome, please don't panic if I do not respond to a question, it can take me a few days. Often we aren't at the farm so sorry there is not always a "warm welcome" for you on arrival. :) Refer to my directions and phone number accessible via "My Trips." Over long weekends such as Easter we offer a "glamping tent" experience for an additional cost of $300 you can hire a gamping tent(s) (setup up for up to 6 people), including stretchers, lanterns etc. Please speak to myself/Kristin separately if you would like to take advantage of this offer.

This is the highest site on the property to camp. Views from this location are beautiful as well as sunsets and sunrises. This campsite may be more suitable for adults without young children as there isn't access to the creek for kids to play in. To access this site go through 2 creek crossings, up a steep hill and then via left straight up a rough road.

An absolute gem of a Hipcamp! Beautiful location, lovely hosts and excellent facilities. We were lucky enough to be the only campers during our stay, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Lots of open space for the kids to run around, beautiful scenery and not too far out from town. The track in was a little hairy in spots for our van, but we made it in and out without issue! Would 100% stay again!

Nothing beats escaping for a few days with minimal fuss. Our little camping trip to Redbank Way was nothing short of amazing. It was our second time here, and it was just as peaceful and beautiful as we remembered. We packed light since our car is small and we knew the camp kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed. The days were filled with a cozy fire, swims in the creek, a walk through the paddock, lazy hours in the hammock, and a sky full of fireflies ✨ The pups had the best time exploring, splashing in the water, and soaking up all the adventures right alongside us. 🐾 Feeling recharged and grateful. 🌙💛 Thank you, Kristin and Paul, for sharing such a wonderful place.

Kristine was very responsive to all messages. We stayed at Site 2 where there were a very nice covered area with lots of kitchen equipment and utensils. The cows however went through the fence a few times even after we have turned on the electric fence. They were harmless so that was alright, they did moo really loud on our first night which woke everybody. Toilet and shower were not clean when we arrived and Kristine did apologise she hasnt been down the campsite for 6 weeks. Her husband came the second day at 6pm to install the generator and cleaned the shower and we had hot shower on the third day of our stay. The camp area was sloppy tho just be aware. The firepit was so big which was really great I guess the most down point was the cows otherwise it was a pretty ok stay. Thanks Kristine for the compensation and honesty

This spot was great, highly recommended. Shallow running creek right besides the camp grounds to keep the kids entertained, clean and tidy toilet and shower that is lit up all night, an amazing undercover area for use and plenty of land to adventure around.

What a fabulous place to go camping, bushwalking, stargazing and swimming. We went with a group of friends and 2 pups this time, but will be returning for our own peaceful getaway. If you have little packing space, you can leave your cooking utensils at home. There is a hot shower, eco toilet, pizza oven, BBQ, gas burner and kettle, pots and pans, cast iron pot, cutlery and crockery, and $15 bags of firewood if you get there late to search for your own. You don't need a 4x4 to get there, just take it easy on the driveway, i took my hatchback with no issues. I highly recommend and can't wait to return to this piece of paradise. We spent the New Year period 24/25 at Redbank Way and absolutely loved it. There is a massive grassy patch for you to pitch your tent. The amenities were great, we loved having a toilet, shower and the big shelter to sit under. We even utilised the wood fired pizza oven which worked really well. It was a warm few days but sitting under the large shelter blocked the sun and heat out. It wasn't far to get back to Wauchope for supplies or a swim in the Hastings River which we did a few times. The road in was a little bumping but if your car has decent clearance it should be fine. Kristin was very attentive calling us on the day of check in to give detailed instructions on how to get there as well as coming down to visit us on site to give us a run down on everything the site had to offer. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and I can highly recommend it.

The Heights
Kristin was incredibly kind and accommodating during our stay. We spent the first night at The Heights, but unfortunately, the cattle wandered around our tent, causing a mess in our kitchen and disturbing our sleep. It made the first night less enjoyable. However, Kristin went above and beyond to help us relocate to the glamping campsite. The new spot was much more comfortable and located next to a friendly group of campers, which completely turned the experience around for us. Her quick response and willingness to help made all the difference. Thank you, Kristin!

We loved camping at Redbank. Beautiful spot by the creek. Lots of amenities. Toilet and shower were clean. Communal cooking area was amazing. You really don't need to bring anything else to cook with. Everything it there that is required, BBQ, gas Cooktown and pizza oven. Fantastic hosts. Loved their hospitality.

We love this place, although it was raining we stayed dry by sitting in the camp kitchen with a fire, the sound of the creek running at night was amazing and Kristin was so helpful and friendly, definitely going back.

We loved our stay!!! Took the "glamping" option with the lean to and camp kitchen and had a great couple of nights around the campfire. The property is beautiful, big and feels remote yet close enough to Wauchope to go get supplies or coffee if you need to. We'll be back for sure...kids loved it!

Kristin’s place was the perfect place for our family to spend Easter. Our sites were lush grass with the creek close by. The lean-to with fire pit was well-resourced and a great option for extra shade and rain protection. Kristin’s family were welcoming and made sure our stay was wonderful. Thank you, we will be back.

Redbank Way was the perfect place to spend Easter with our family. The large grassy area on a gorgeous creek was ideal for camping. The lean to well set up for extra shade and rain cover. It is obvious a lot of thought and effort has gone into making this camp comfortable. Kristin and her family were warm and welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make sure our visit was wonderful. Thank you. We will be back.

Another overnight camp at remote Redbank Way. The greenest I’ve seen it and the creek is flowing. Sunday was very hot so it was nice to sit in the rocky rapids and cool off. Lovely to see the happy inquisitive cows and horses again. We love coming here only half an hour from home in Port Macquarie

Lovely property with toilet and shower provided which was excellent but basically camped surrounded by cows in a paddock which offered no view of creek which was difficult to access. No signage to designate camp sites which was confusing as was for other campers I spoke with. Cows where very intrusive no damage but would be woken early by bumping rubbing and knocking over equipment. There was a fenced of section which looked perfect but I paid same price for my experience.

Redbank Way was amazing we had the most beautiful Christmas. Facilities were wonderful. Views were great and everyone had such a great time. We explored the beautiful property and cooled down in the creek. Kristin was very helpful and ensured our stay would be perfect.

Beautiful, spacious, secluded spot with everything you needed to camp comfortably. The ground was nice and soft, grassy (dry but still lovely), amazing starry skies. Quite a long, bumpy drive into camp so be prepared but really loved our time here.

We loved our recent trip back to Redbank Camping in our rooftop tent in such a beautiful valley, which we had all to ourselves, was a great experience. Lots of bird life ( visiting black cockatoo’s a highlight) wallaby’s and the resident very friendly horses and cattle We can’t wait to go back again

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Such a beautiful place to leave the rat race behind and soak up the serenity. Camping with the very inquisitive cattle and friendly horses was a great experience. The hosts are great communicators and have other camping options on the property if you want more facilities. We stopped by the bit glamping camp and were greatly impressed. We can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful property to explore, came here with our 2 toddlers and 2 dogs and had a great time exploring the propertys hills and creek, easy 15min drive to wauchope. well maintained amenities and tonnes of space for dogs to run around, kick the footy and go on an adventure collecting firewood.
