Hike-in
Hike-in to this Hipcamp.
This site is hike-in access only and is suitable for serious hikers capable of navigating steep, rugged terrain. The hike takes around one hour. The property is primarily rainforest and is surrounded by thousands of acres of national park. There is a waterfall and plenty of native wildlife. Campers here will often see goannas, kookaburras, wallabies, and, if you’re really lucky, koalas. If you want to escape into the wilderness, pitch a tent, and explore an untouched rainforest all to yourself, then this spot is for you. This site is deep in the rainforest, surrounded by thousands of acres of untouched wilderness, a waterfall and lots of wildlife. There is NO drive in access to this site due to the steep and rugged terrain. Please give yourself at least 2 daylight hours to hike to the site. Hikers must be fit and comfortable with steep and rugged terrain to access this site. This is for those who like a challenge and want to be immersed in nature. Note: at times you will need your hands available to traverse the land - only carry what you need and preferably in a hiking backpack. Phone service is bad at the best of times and often not available. There is a composting toilet at the site. Drinkable Water must be brought in by yourself. There is a creek & waterfall close by to collect dishwater, bath and cool off. We hope you will enjoy this piece of paradise as much as we do.
