We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return.
Dimity and Richard were the perfect hosts. Great communication leading up to the booking, meeting us on arrival to ensure we were settled in and they even put together an information sheet showing everything we needed to know about the campsite and what there was to do and see in the area. They even provided a first aid kit to make sure we were safe. Hospitality plus+++
The campsite was private and peaceful. The river was very refreshing and there were a few holes deep enough to sit around in to cool off.
The highlight was the fireflies that came out each night just after dark. So beautiful.

Great location, private, amazing views, really easy access to the site (even after a big dump of rain before our arrival) and plenty of room for the kids and doggo to run around.
Dimity was an excellent host, good communication, and best of all had the campfire lit for us for when we arrived.
Even though we didn't go exploring too far, this would be a great base to use and have access to the Barrington tops area.
We're hoping to get back there again

Dimity's directions were very clear and precise. Despite heavy rain for most of our stay we were warm and dry and slept well with the only sounds from rain and churning river. We enjoyed breakfast in brief sunlight before we packed up. Unfortunately we didn't meet our host but also would not have expected a visit in such weather. It was a beautiful site.

We had a great stay in this beautiful private location right on the river. Dimity was very welcoming and let our young kids feed their calf and sheep. The fire was already started for us when we arrived and there was plenty of firewood. Great spot.

Had a great stay at Coola. Campfire upon arrival, creek sounds all night, and a little swimming hole a short walk away. My kids even got to feed the baby cow! Thanks for a great stay

Site was great, unfortunately couldn’t get the the rainforest one cause there was a tree down but stayed by the river and it was excellent.

We loved camping on Dimity & Russell's land! And are already talking about going back.
We were a group of 12 (3 families, 6 adults, 6 kids), staying over Easter long weekend (4 nights). Upside for us (downside for some), there's no internet/phone reception. Was about a 30 min drive to get enough reception to download a movie.
There's so much to do on the property. Beautiful river, and lots of space for exploring, riding bikes, kicking balls etc. Plus we were lucky that Dimity and Russell had some animals that they let our kids (and the adults) bottle feed, pat and play with.
Dimity was great communicating before our arrival and during our stay.
She even lit the fire for us before we arrived as we were arriving later in the day. And met each of our party at the gate to show us to our sites (even when we arrived late one night).

We had a great stay at Camp Coola! Very picturesque down by the creek and over the mountains. Our little ones enjoyed swimming and climbing the rocks, going for walks to visit the geese and horses and also bottle feeding the baby animals. Dimity and Richard were a great hosts, we loved our stay and the local honey purchase. Thank you!

Dimity and Richard were amazingly accommodating and their property is beautiful. We had our own private camp site next to a stream and we had an amazing time. We would most definitely recommend Camp Coola to other people.

I stayed in a great field right next to the creek. Lots of wild life birds and roos were about. 3 beautiful horses came and visited me in the morning. Dimity is a great host!
