The whole property affords total peace, privacy and above all tranquillity. Set in the splendour of rural Martinsville, backing onto both the Watagan and NSW State Forests, it is a combination of grassland and bush. The whole property is very private, peaceful, picturesque and also a Wildlife Refuge. It is home to a resident mob of wallabies, fallow deer, numerous amphibians, native birds, flora and fauna. The billabong affords ample opportunities to view and enjoy a nature experience. Flat sheltered grassland with camp shelter/BBQ . Choose your own campsite. Due to the location and the calm nature of the surrounding areas Arcadia is not a party venue. It is an oasis of peace and tranquility and a wild life reserve . Although, it is a family oriented property, we also welcome couples and small groups, for those who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and come back to nature. In order to maintain the serene and quite nature of your visit loud music and loud noise is not permitted. There is no fee for children under 5

Booking fees are $40 per adult per night and $20 for children over five years per night. You can choose your own camping spot except for the Grove which is a group booking area. The whole property affords total peace, privacy and above all tranquillity. Camping with beautiful surroundings

We had a fantastic weekend at Maggie’s Arcadia campground. Beautiful paddock style camping with lots to explore, warm showers, clean toilets, sweet smelling handwash - my wife thinks this is the best campground we have ever been to!

We had a fabulous time. The property was magnificent and the amenities were so clean and well looked after. Maggie and Bill were such kind and attentive hosts…I don’t think I’ve ever had such a pleasant camping experience. The little things made it so memorable and we will certainly be back again in the future 😊

We visited Arcadia Family Campsite (The Grove) as a large group of about 30 people, including kids, and had an incredible experience. The hosts, Maggie and Bill, were absolutely fantastic! Maggie greeted us warmly and even offered chocolates to the kids, which made them so happy—a truly thoughtful gesture. The campsite itself is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of wildlife around. The kids loved seeing kangaroos and even a deer during our stay, which added to the fun and excitement. Maggie also provided a firepit and barbecue equipment, making our evening cozy and enjoyable. Overall, the site was stunning, the service was exceptional, and the hospitality from Maggie and Bill made our trip unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this campsite for families and large groups!

Gorgeous, quiet setting. Camp had communal sink and BBQ and excellent clean toilets and showers. There are lots of cute wallabies and we saw the local wombat twice too 🥰

I recently camped at “The Grove” on Maggie’s property and it was excellent. Maggie’s so polite and helpful, I can’t recommend this place enough. The picturesque property, wildlife and solitude of the grove is great for groups of all sizes. We had 4 cars, 7 people and didn’t even take up 1/3 of the space. Amenities are all great and within walking distance of both campsites. I will definitely be going back!

Lovely place to stay and the host Maggie was super friendly! She let me park wherever I preferred and recommend a good spot near the facilities It was peaceful and quiet and even at night there were gentle solar lights to guide your way to the bathrooms!

A little gem of a place with so much space! Amenities are really well maintained and Maggie and her husband made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will definitely return!

My friend & I decided to brave the cold and Camp at Arcadia Farm. We were more than comfortable thanks to all the amenities provided by Maggie. Clean & well appointed hot shower & toilets, camp kitchen shelter serviced with bbqs, kettle, table, chairs and dish washing facilities. We had plenty of wood provided for our fire. The property is beautiful, plenty of native wildlife like wallabies & kookaburras. Maggie was very friendly, greeted us on arrival & then we had plenty of privacy to enjoy our quiet surroundings. Will definitely be back, would love to check out the walk to the waterfall on their property.

We had a fantastic time camping at Maggie and Bill’s place! They were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. The campsite was beautiful and peaceful spot to relax and a great escape from the busy city life. We were a group of uni students and, despite their kind warning about the coming rain, we decided to go ahead with our plans. As expected, we got bogged a few times, but Maggie and Bill were incredibly generous and came to our rescue every time! Their kindness and support meant a lot to us. We are very thankful and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic place to stay with amazing hosts.

We we're big group and we have chosen the most private site for 2 nights. The toilets and shower was really clean and lovely (only is a bit too far for us) Will definitely come back again

We recently stayed at this camping site and had an amazing experience! The location was absolutely beautiful — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Toilet was very clean. The host Maggie was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help if we needed anything. We especially appreciated how organized everything was, from the check-in process to the clear signage around the site. We also enjoyed the small touches, like the fire pits and picnic areas — perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. Highly recommend this camping site to anyone looking for a calm, clean, and beautiful place to unwind. We’ll definitely coming back !

Maggie is really nice helping and checking on us as she passes by the campsite. It was a nice cozy spot however there’s not much to do within the campsite if did not carefully prepare as there’s no river, beach or farm animals. (water falls need to walk on foot for an hour, also it is rocky and steep) Wild animals rarely come near to site too. Community shelter, bbq, free fire wood, fire pit are provided to share. Beautiful and clean toilets and shower! We went on Easter holiday so the camp site gets really crowded and noisy like a holiday park with no entertainment. Another to note is the grass are really wet/muddy and seems to have swarms in the bushes so there’s a lot of leeches and mosquitoes even in early autumn. Note: Parking and tent cannot be side by side!

Was greeted at the site by Maggie who was lovely. Picked a nice spot under a tree and was surrounded by wallabies. The amenities were spotless and will camp here again. Not too far from civilisation but feels miles away.

A lovely, tranquil spot with wallabies grazing around. Bill and Maggie were very welcoming and the place was well-equipped. All in all, the perfect place for my toddler's first camping experience.

I recently stayed at this campground for two nights. While there were some positives, there were also areas that need improvement. Positives: Convenient location. Beautiful natural surroundings. Areas for Improvement: Signage: Clearer signs would have been helpful. Host Behavior: The host’s attitude was disappointing. Leeches: We encountered numerous leeches, which was unpleasant. Overall, I hope the campground takes steps to address these issues and create a more positive experience for future visitors.

We had such a wonderful weekend at Maggie's. The property was beautiful and maintained so nicely. There were lots of amenities, including a bbq, firewood, tables, tank water and a clean toilet. Maggie helped us settle in and provided us with a fire pit which was great to have at our site. She was very hospitable, checking in to see if we needed anything each day. The site is in a great spot which is nice and quiet but still close to get to lake Macquarie or the beaches. There were lots of wallabies around too! Would highly recommend if you want to unwind, but be close to lots of activities!

We are so lucky that we found Maggies camp fields. We decided to start our camping weekend suddenly on Sat after lunch. A not very experienced mum and an enthusiastic first time camper 12yo boy. Maggie s place offered us a perfect balance of independence and dependence. We havent bought table or lights so her shelter area had all these!!! . It was our luck we found her place 30min before checkin when we were already on the high way at 8:30pm. Instant booking is working here!! Magg and her husband warmly welcomed us upon arrival and took us to the field next to a shelter where it has lights,bbq and tables. This facility gives me so much security last night as I m on my own with the kid and first time for us to figure out how to set up a tent in the dark. We should be at the center, I can see other big camp fields available behind a bunch of trees, so it should also be great and private to have a group here together. Super great first time camp experience, will definitely return!!!
