Camp was nice and comfortable. The directions were easy to follow. Nice for family. Kids loved seeing the animals and playing on trampoline.

Overall it was OK. I expected to have a lot of activities to entertain the kids with. But the zip line can only be used when the owner is there (ok- understandable for safety) but that wasn’t explained in description. He only has time for us once in the 3 nights we stayed. The porta potty is horrible- it was just about filled to the top with poop and did not see the blue water I would expect. The trampoline was right next to the house, that we didn’t rent, so it felt like we were invading their space + some ppl were filming so we didn’t want to mess them up. The “axe throwing” and “archery” were toys that looked like they were won from an arcade that u have to purchase with tickets. The “petting zoo” was a bunch of animals that were out of reach to pet, except for 1 cute rabbit. I could have been fine, but the kicker was the inflatable queen beds. When I think glamping I expect a real bed. But bc it was inflatable it was uncomfortable and cold at night bc your loosing heat through the bed underneath. And you wake up every time the person next to you moves. If you go make sure to take extra blankets and pillows. The views were beautiful, and did have open spaces. Owner was nice. Prob not going again unless owner gets a real bathroom, way to shower and real beds.

Lovely Redwood Mountains Campground
The site was fine, but it didn’t look quite as lush and inviting as the pictures here in the summer (grass was brown, dry). We camped up the hill for more privacy from the other campers, which was a bit exposed. The real kicker, though, was that somebody nearby was playing heavy dubstep until 3am which kept my wife and I awake. Obviously this isn’t really the owner’s fault, but it totally disturbed the tranquility of the experience as well as our ability to sleep. That plus the amenities vs price brought the rating down. Grill worked fine, trampoline was useable, petting zoo was there though a little scant, we pet a bunny and a goat.

Glamping Tipi in the Redwood Forest
We had a wonderful time glamping here! Big thanks to Joe, the ranch owner, for his warm hospitality. Both the adults and our 4 yr old kid loved this place! For a family like ours who’s a bit too lazy to pitch our own tent but still wants to experience camping, this was the perfect outdoor getaway. The tent was incredibly clean and spacious. Joe also has so many exciting plans and ideas for this site — we can’t wait to see how it evolves. We’ll definitely be back!

Glamping Tipi in the Redwood Grove
What a beautiful property! Misthaven was a great choice for our 3 year old, he loved watching the animals and exploring the surroundings. The glamping tent was roomy and comfortable, and while we agreed it could use extra blankets on a cold night, was a big step up from tent camping. Communication was good and our host was super friendly and helpful. We'd love to return!

A beautiful retreat to reset. Stayed in the Teepee tent and it was great. Night got a little cold as expected but to be in this little hidden beauty was great. The kids loved it. The staff was nice.

My family enjoyed Glamping at Misthaven Ranch. We stayed in the Large Tipi Tent. It fit 2 Adults, 1 Baby, and 1 Dauchsund with plenty of space. After check in time, We checked out the litte farm (Goats, Bunnies, Chickens). Enjoyed the Zipline, Axe Throwing, and Archery setups. The tent was clean but a bit cold. I would highly recommend if wanting to Glamp on a budget.

Loved my first experience glamping. Was very family friendly brought my 1 year old and dog. Loved the little farm and activities including archery and axe throwing!
