Our experience at the farm was exactly what we were looking for! We got to enjoy the tranquility of nature watching the stars at night and hiking around the property with the comforts of a soft bed and big free yurt. Nate and his partner have put so much thought into making the living spaces inviting and well set up- from snacks to cooking Utensils we have everything we needed. Feeding the farm animals and collecting eggs created special memories for our kids- our stay was a 10/10!

Pink Pony Peace Oasis

This is an INCREDIBLE spot!!! Nate is so helpful and kind. The site is stocked with everything you could need. Beds are SO confortable. I wish I could come here every weekend.

If you’re looking for a peaceful little escape that’s still easy to get to, this spot in the hills of the Cuyama Valley is absolute magic—and it’s only about 1.5 hours from the Central Coast. The scenery alone is worth the trip: rolling hills, lush greenery, and wildflowers everywhere. It’s quiet in the kind of way that makes you realize how loud everyday life usually is. We stayed in the Pink Pony Yurt and it was such a fun and cozy place to land after a day exploring the area. Our host Nate was incredibly welcoming and gracious from the start. You can tell he really cares about the space and the people staying there. He and his partner also clearly have a lot of love for their animals and take wonderful care of them, which makes the whole place feel even more special. The setup had everything we needed: a fire pit for cozy evenings, tidy sawdust bathrooms, and even a working shower out in nature (which felt surprisingly luxurious after a day outside). Everything felt clean, safe, and thoughtfully maintained. There’s also a little petting zoo on the property and guests have the option to collect eggs. We didn’t pick our own, but Nate kindly gave us a half dozen fresh eggs which felt like such a sweet bonus. If you want a quiet getaway where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and maybe make a few farm animal friends, this place is a gem. Would absolutely stay again.

More of a destination than an overnight like we did! Would be a great place to camp with friends. Was a surprising and fab overnight though with grand sunset and sunrise, farm animals and everything a camper could possibly need! Privacy too! Loved it!

These guys put the "glam" in glamping! Pink fluffy comfort in all corners. The coziest, comfiest bed ever. The place was well stocked with everything you would need. So quaint and quirky. And the farm animals were adorable! There are roosters, though, so be warned!

360 degrees of peace and calm

Ricky and Nathan were very personable kind and caring and explained how to operate everything for a seamless and very enjoyable stay . The yurt-like tent was spacious well decorated and warm at night . The outdoor private covered cabana offered a table barbecue cooking facility and all the cookware one could need . Bathroom and shower were private and clean. Outside fire pit surrounded by comfortable chairs . The views were spectacular. The Terrain which included level as well as gently sloping features Offered excellent hiking and meditation vistas . The night sky was filled with billions of stars and morning calm was met with beautiful sounds of the animals waking . We enjoyed petting and visiting the goats ,pigs ,chickens and the roosters. We look forward to our return and staying for longer.

Relaxing ranch getaway

We had a small group come up to Nathan's ranch for my sister's birthday, and we rented out two of the glamping sites. We had so much fun, and it was awesome being away from the city with such amazing views. Seriously, the mountains were insane, and I don't think I've ever seen the Milky Way so clearly. Nathan was lovely, as are the animals—everyone should do the petting zoo. Definitely bring your earplugs if you're in Pink Pony #1 (the rooster is an early riser!) We'll be back for sure :)

We stayed on Nathan's farm and were the only guests for two nights (benefits of not camping on the weekend!). It was quiet except for the delightful noises from the goats, pigs, and chickens. The morning and night skies were spectacular. Our campsite was clean with an eco outhouse and separate stand-alone shower. Instructions to get to the farm were easy to follow. Nathan welcomed us into the farm when we arrived. We got to experience rain on the 2nd day--lovely. We appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into the creation our campsite.

Bad Barbie Camp w/Hot Shower

Nate was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to make the best of the scorching heat! It is a farmland out in the desert nonetheless, but the cute outhouses and showers built by Nate himself and having the cowboy tub available around the clock kept things cool and fun. There is also a little market 10 min drive away so close enough to pick up more ice and water if you need it. On a clear night without a full moon out, you can lay out under a starry night and maybe even catch a few shooting stars. Thank you Nate for the experience and memories!

Nathan the host is super friendly and communicative. Sad we weren’t able to actually stay there. Hipcamp had an issue with instant book even though they were fully booked. Would recommend booking here in advance and/or reaching out to Nathan before hand to double check. We will definitely try again soon!!

A really fun, unique camping experience. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The fully stocked outdoor kitchen was amazing! Plenty of different hang out zones. As our kids are getting older they are complaining more about family camping trips, but loved this fun setup. Also, pigs so cute and friendly.

Nathan’s campsite had everything we needed. Everything was well maintained and clean. The beds were so comfortable. There were warm blankets provided so we didn’t get cold at night. We were able to take showers and wash our hands. The compost toilet was easy to use. It’s was so nice to sit under the stars. We stayed with our toddler, dog and cat. We did have to look out for rattlesnakes but luckily didn’t see any. Our toddler enjoyed seeing the farm animals. We had a great relaxing stay. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place - off the beaten path

Beautiful place, really well equipped - they really have thought of everything. Really off the beaten path - expect a drive through amazing scenery to get there. Worth stopping for a few photos on the way. If you can drag yourself out of bed, an amazing sunrise. The pigs were fab and loved cuddles in the morning. 🐷

A Jolly Good Time!

Nate & Rickie are amazing hosts. They have put a lot of energy, care and flair into their Hipcamp for others to enjoy. The scenery and landscape are gorgeous. We loved the songbirds, yapping goats, and other chatty animals. The sites are spread apart and overall the land/place has a wonderful vibe.
