Great location with excellent take away shop at the park entrance. Across from the river. A little old but well kept.

Apparently, Ingenia acquired this park recently, and from our observation, have not spent much to improve what was obviously a run down park. The amenities block was covered with moss and mould, it was cleaned reasonably regularly but always seemed to be dirty. It would have been a hell of a lot better with a coat of paint in and out. We had to call head office ( located at another park) to have the toilet paper supply refilled as it always seemed to be empty. The lot we were assigned, 28 was extremely small and we had difficulty backing our van in. This was made more difficult because of the iron posts protecting the dump point opposite. There were a number of other vacant lots facing the Causeway that would have been very much more desirable. There were also a number of very dilapidated looking permanent vans who's owners were obviously not required to maintain to a reasonable standard, but, we were reminded regularly of the need to keep our dog on a leash (which it always was).

We enjoyed our stay at this camp site. A little rough around the edges however, clean anmenities, and under new management/owners this could be a special little spot. Short walk or drive to lovely beaches, most are dog friendly and great fishing on your door step! We’d definitely return.
