The Guinea farm is 18 acres of feild and forest on the rural middle pennensula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. There is verly little traffic or light polution here, nature is at your fingertips.

There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria is a primative site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy is a suspended tree tent in the pines 700' beyond that and seperated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an offgrid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property.
Each site is surronded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large feild. There are romaing guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack.
There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available.

Well it’s here. I’m Located in Wakefield Virginia. If you’re traveling to Virginia Beach I’m one hour away. From my farm there is a free ferry in Scotland where the ferry departs to Williamsburg just 30 minutes. At my farm I have 5 sites for tent/camping so it’s spaced appropriately apart I have 2 Rv sites totally away for their privacy and a new mini house also properly spaced away. All have a clean picnic table and a fire pit. 100 feet away you’ll find that clean bathroom, shower and a wash station for hygiene. You’ll see the love I put into this and because I love it and my prior guests love it, which means it may be right for you also. In the town of Wakefield you’ll find gas stations, dollar stores, a Value food market and if you want (to go) food we have that also. Plus it’s home to The Virginia Diner. Amenities include toilet access, a shower, trash disposal, picnic tables, and potable water. Pets are allowed, as are campfires.

We are centrally located in the heart of Hampton Roads within a 15-30 minute drive to Virginia Beach Ocean Front, ODU, NSU, ORF airport, all Navy bases, and Waterside District. This cozy RV campsite was previously used to store our Airstream as a spare guest house which we no longer own. It comes with sewer hookup, city water, 30 amp outlet. The Wisteria Treehouse is a magical place. Both adults and children loved it. Not only is it super cool to camp in a treehouse but it's also beautifully built too. The upper treehouse looks like a ships hold with portholes and everything

Weekend Trip to Private Farm House w lake
We can't recommend the Farmhouse enough!!! A refreshing swimming lake and nature all to ourselves. Peaceful but with all the creature comforts of a soft bed, full kitchen, and WiFi :) The space is large enough that everyone could do what they wanted. We fed the goats, gathered some eggs, hiked the woods, paddled and swam in the lake, then we had drinks in the screened in patio. Bug free! We did not regret a second of our visit.

Weekend Trip to The Guinea Farm, Field, and Forest
Such a unique and private treehouse adventure!
The main house and other 2 sites were almost completely hidden behind trees outlining a small open field that was perfect for stargazing.
I loved having the option of sleeping in the treehouse or on the cots in the tent that was securely anchored to the elevated wooden platform.
The porch area leading into the treehouse had 2 camp chairs, which created the perfect lookout to enjoy morning coffee and the gas cooktop/grill provided a convenient, covered area to cook breakfast.
Ian, the host, maintained excellent communication from booking to checkout and responded quickly when I had questions about the battery operated light switches and WiFi connection.
Having several beach options just a few minutes drive away was better than I hoped considering the ease of access and how few people were at the beaches. For a while I had Aaron’s Beach completely to myself!
Staying at the Wisteria Treehouse is now my favorite “glamping” get away and look forward to returning soon!

I was having trouble finding a campground in the area, then I remembered to check Hipcamp—and I struck gold. I found Kyle’s RV spot, located in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of space and great accommodations. It has a private entry and exit, and it’s conveniently close to shopping and the freeway. Kyle was extremely helpful and a great host. A+ experience—definitely check him out. I’ll absolutely be back.

Oh my gosh, this cabin is everything. From the front porch to the kitchen and every little detail made the cabin feel like home. Great location to everything that makes the eastern shore special and Mona was incredibly helpful sharing recommendations on places to eat and things to do! My dog, Lola, and I celebrated her birthday here and it was the perfect getaway to disconnect. A beautiful cabin and a great getaway!

The cabin itself was really cute and functional. We were there in February when it was cold and rainy and stayed warm and cozy. Being so close to beaches was amazing, beautiful places in every direction and the property itself was also really spacious and cool. Ian as a host was kind, communicative, and fun to interact with, he was ready to accommodate on site issues and also not be overbearing. Would highly recommend! The house was so cute a cozy. It is a real house with electricity, internet, TV, dvd player, and Netflix, a full kitchen, and the bathroom is right beside the upstairs bedroom. The view from the bed in the morning was a beautiful huge tree in the field. Down the hill is a very large pond. I can see a float and canoes that would be great in the summer. There is a huge pavilion beside the lake with couches, a long table, chairs, a grill, and a refrigerator. There are two outside RV toilet stalls at the lake too. When I drove in I saw horses in a field and a little donkey running around, playing in a a pen. I stopped and watched. Close to the house they have goats in a pen and they wanted me to pat them. The owner, Maria, told me I could. She also has a pig and chickens. I enjoyed the solitude but this place would be wonderful for a family outing or corporate retreat. I forgot a few things, so Maria directed me to a nearby Walmart in Tappahannock. I highly recommend a stay at Maria's farm.

Stargazer tiny cabin at the Guinea Farm was perfect for me and my pup. Ian was the perfect host and made us feel so welcome. Meeting the chickens and guineas was a lot of fun and the beach nearby was breathtaking. We explored the area, had a few campfires, and relaxed. Even the rainstorm was amazing while inside Stargazer!!! The cabin was super cool. We will be returning! Just a quick note that did not detract from the experience at all - we did encounter some hunting dogs loose at the beach hunting a deer. Its obviously hunting season and off the location, just good to note. We loved our trip here and valued meeting Ian and learning about his much loved birds, clearly living in paradise. Definitely worth a visit! The cabin itself was extremely clean and well stocked. The property was fun to explore, even has corn hole and axe throwing!
