Bolinda Vale Farm

Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926.

We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy.

A great property to reconnect with country 

Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. 

We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites.

Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites.

There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. 

Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. 

The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos

 

Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. 

You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water

We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. 

Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online.

ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm.
No entry for extra campers on day of arrival if not booked in as they will not be permitted to enter the property

Campfires permitted when local government restrictions aren't in place. PLEASE NOTE At times Bolinda Vale Farm management may reinforce their own fire restrictions, as we know the vegetation and lay of the land in the gully

Chittering Acres

We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon.The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

Serenity, Stars & Fresh Air

Camp on this 7.5 acres property in Woodridge Western Australia. A short drive to the Moore river, the beach or the  coastal town of Guilderton.Swimming pool on site which guests can use. Supervised swimming for children under age off 13yrs.Toilet and shower facilities, canoe hire, bike hire, amazing off road tracks to some great fishing spots. Local brewery opening December 2021 , local  restaurant opens all day 7 days a week, golf course and tennis courts.  Seabird Tavern a must visit.Stars at night are AMAZING.

Raptor Retreat

Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. 

The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. 

The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. 

 The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce.

Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. 

Alternatively,  at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. 

Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire.

Summer Creek

Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. 

Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track.

The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002.  The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues.

Our camping set-up is a work in progress so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site.

When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility.
