Chittering Acres

We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon.The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

Camp on this 7.5 acres property in Woodridge Western Australia. A short drive to the Moore river, the beach or the  coastal town of Guilderton.Swimming pool on site which guests can use. Supervised swimming for children under age off 13yrs.Toilet and shower facilities, canoe hire, bike hire, amazing off road tracks to some great fishing spots. Local brewery opening December 2021 , local  restaurant opens all day 7 days a week, golf course and tennis courts.  Seabird Tavern a must visit.Stars at night are AMAZING.

Raptor Retreat

Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. 

The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. 

The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. 

 The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce.

Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. 

Alternatively,  at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. 

Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire.

Summer Creek

Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. 

Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track.

The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002.  The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues.

Our camping set-up is a work in progress so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site.

When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility.

Campfires

Everything Horses Ltd

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse!

A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. 

There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities.

Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. 

Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. 

We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. 

The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance.

Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking.
