This is such a beautiful spot! Liza & Dave have created such a lovely space and are so welcoming and friendly. The stove, the outdoor shower, the little tree house! So simple, cosy and adorable. Yvonne’s Raptor Retreat was a treat! We enjoyed the animals and we were lucky enough to get a tour thanks to Yvonne. It was well situated from the airport which suited us since I was flying into Perth. Well secured property. Close to the city - basically close proximity to everything.

Weekend Trip to Echidna Springs Horticulture

I had a really wonderful two nights here. There are some other houses around but it feels secluded and the neighbourgood is beautiful. Cooking with the camp cooker and having the pot belly stove on was super cozy and wasn't too cold inside. This is such a good option for the feel of camping but way more convenient and sheltered. The outdoor shower and tree house were also great. Lisa the owner is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this yurt.

My Husband and I took our dog to stay at Ed's place for an overnight stay. It was so quiet, the only noise was from birds and the wind rustling in the trees! Ed maintains the property very well, everything is neat and in order. Ed even cooked our sausages for us on the BBQ! The cabin is very nice, it would suit 4 people no problem. Be aware there are no amenities in the cabin, the kitchen and bathroom is in the main residence.

If you want quiet then this is the place to go. We had two fantastic days at ED’s place. Great night for star gazing and you could of heard a pin drop only 1 hour away from Perth Ed joined us for chats and a couple of beers. Thanks again Ed for sharing your dream location

Close enough to everything if you need it, but far enough to feel like you've escaped the city. :) Private, lots of birds and a cute puppo that likes to say goodmorning. The tree house, swing and the cards were a nice surprise! Definitely entertaining and just what the doctor ordered. Yurts are a big part of my husbands culture so he found the experience quite nostalgic, too. Thank you having us. :)

100-Acre Woods

We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Jacaranda Hill Farm

We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Herron Point Farm Stay

Located 5 minutes from the Forrest Highway and less than 10 minutes' drive to the beautiful and popular Herron Point. The farm offers the country lifestyle without travelling for hours. With 54 acres of native bush and pasture, a beautiful dam with an island combined with an abundance of natural wildlife. Come and enjoy the delights. The campsites are private with a fire pit provided and you are welcome to collect wood from around the property. Fires are prohibited between 1st Dec and 1st May inclusive. While the main entrance is on Old Bunbury Road, most campsites are accessed from Dutchman Road. We have invested monies earnt back into the sites by way of limestone all weather tracks, fire pits and irrigation for the warmer months which also helps to mitigate the risk and impact of bushfires. The Northern half of the property is a combination of pasture and native trees, while the Southern half is native bush. Guests are welcome to roam the entire property with the exception of the owner's residence and sheds.

We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. Bolinda Vale Farm

Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926. We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy. A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Yurt Abundance in Perth Hills

Abundance yurt is surrounded by trees and birds in the Perth Hills, only 30 mins from Perth CBD. The property comes with its own composting toilet and hot outdoor shower, gas cooker and pot belly stove. Suitable for singles or couples, some smaller dogs may be appropriate (please contact Liza to discuss before booking). Other things to note Moonbeams Yurt is situated at the bottom of a 1 acre property, on a large 48sqm decked area. The yurt is 20sqm in size and the composting toilet and shower are within 10 steps from the yurt entrance. The hot water shower is an outdoor shower with a privacy screen. There is NO power at all, but 1 battery powered light is available, and there is a basic gas cooker provided. There is no refrigeration. Parking is at the top of the property and guests will have to walk down a partially sealed path to arrive at the entrance to the yurt, so good mobility is needed. You will need to bring in refrigeration/Eski, lights and basic cooking camp ware. A wheelbarrow can be provided to get gear from car to yurt. A Double bed is provided. Optional extras are fresh bedding. The pot belly stove is great for the winter, and timber is provided for cold nights. We do not recommend booking during our hottest months, unless you love the heat. This property is great for backpackers or people wanting to see the sites of Perth and surrounds. The train line is close by for people who do not have a car. There are many walks and states forests in the area. We have a two night minimum stay.

Raptor Retreat

Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce. Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. Lakeside Parkway Camping

We have up to 3 powered sites with 10 and 15 amp power and 6 Self Contained sites - 2 sites with fresh rainwater depending on how big vans are and if they want tree cover or sunlight for solar, there is a shower & toilet in nearby shed that can be used for a fee. The wooden giant is only 250 metres walk from our gate. Lake Clifton Thrombolites around the corner passing the Thorny Devil Brewery Pets welcome if they are kept on leash and under control - there is wildlife that frequent the property. Campfires allowed when local regulations permit.
