25 acre bushland property set amongst Jarrah and Marri trees. Once logged for its timber in the 1960's by Wundowie Steel Foundry for it's steel mills and furnaces, there are still many tall/older trees as well as regrowth. We often have Kangaroos, Wallabies, occasional Echidnas, Goannas, Lizards and many species of Birds. All live in the wild and there is no guarantee that we will see them
We grow wildflowers such as Proteas, Leucadendron , Leucospermum (pincushions),Banksias , Eucalypt - Silver Dollar, and Cut Flowers - Osteospermum, Zinnia and Gladioli, Kangaroo Paw and Bromeliads. We also have our native species - Grass Trees, Zamia Palm and Golden Wattle .
We also have fruit trees, chooks and a vegetable garden.
BUSH STAY ACCOMMODATION is available.The Olivia Cabin which will accommodate up to four people.TV,DVD, aircon, fridge, toaster, kettle and cutlery, plates etc.
We also have a large comfortable Tent to accommodate up to four people. Set up for the real bush experience. TV, DVD ,table and chairs .Beds and mattresses,sheets ,blankets, pillows, and doonas can be provided. You may bring your own tent,but only up to a mid sized four man tent.This is not an RV site.
Hear all the sounds of the bush at night! Check out the stars planets and the moon. The sky is so clear out here.
Caravans/Camper trailers are also welcome. One Powered site available.
A toilet, shower and Barbeque facilities are available and our Fire Pit is ok to use in Winter and share some toasted Marshmallows.

For supplies, there’s a convenience store just down the road, and if you’re after a beach day or need more amenities, Falcon is only a 15-minute drive away. Perth is just 1 hour and 20 minutes from the campsite, making this the perfect weekend getaway.

As mature travellers, we appreciated this peaceful sanctuary amongst the trees and birds. We were in the area for the Perth Trail Series Chitty Chitty Run Run if anyone is looking for accommodation, we highly recommend. The site is peaceful, well equipped, and suited our needs perfectly. Mark is a wonderful host, very accommodating and kind. He has done wonderful job of cultivating this site which was recently opened prior to our arrival. Thank you for our long weekend stay and good luck with your endeavours Mark. Check this place out guys!

We stayed in the powered site 1. We were very happy with the clean and tidy grounds and beautiful backdrop of trees, red dirt and wildflowers. The track behind our site was a beautiful walk with lots of kangaroos and birds to be seen. Camp host very friendly and welcoming. We will definately back, already recommended to our parents who have already booked :!

Plenty of room to get the caravan in and set up. Camp sites are close to the playground and amenities.
Maintenance and cleaners were sweeping leaves, tidying up and cleaning all day, every day so everything was spotless.
Whitehills beach is 5 min away and the estuary is 200m away from unpowered sites.
There is also a pool which is in very good condition and clean.

Quick weekend away. Such a lovely campsite. We enjoyed a game of tennis, a swim and a variety of little animal visitors to our campsite. Close to a variety of activities (fishing, 4WD and shops in Mandurah). Would definitely recommend.

I liked the rustic, shady style of the park. Yes it is sandy but I prefer that to a cookie cutter modern park. The kids loved the playground, pool and basketball court as well as a great crabbing beach on your doorstep and successful torchlight possum spotting also able to buy an ice cream at the shop. All this made for a great place to take our grandchildren for a few days.

I had an awesome time at this caravan park — easily one of the better ones I’ve stayed at. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place had such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The sites were spacious, the amenities spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. You can tell they really care about keeping everything in great condition. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable getaway.

Absolutely wonder spot right on the estuary, not far from Mandurah itself. Rabbits running around at night as well as possums. Kids loved the wildlife.
I was expecting alot of mosquitoes but I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't too bad at all. Still recommend bringinsome good repellent.
Highly recommend staying here. Host's are great too.

Ed is a very welcoming host. His home is your home during your stay. Location is great for a peaceful getaway.
You have the option of power or no power. There is also the option of using a shared bathroom if not self sufficient.
The fire pit was available and Ed kept it well stocked with wood.

A small and basic site, but really charming with lovely shady trees. Our second night felt much more private once other guests had left, though it can be quite open when busy. There are some beautiful walks nearby, and the evenings were wonderfully quiet with stunning starry skies. It was a bit dusty with a few caterpillars around, but we appreciated that there were no nasty spiders and the site was well-cleared to help prevent snakes. A peaceful and pleasant stay overall 🏕️

Nice peaceful location to camp under the trees. All the campsites are in sight of each other but enough distance that everyone had their own space. The brewery next door was only open between 10am - 3pm so it was quiet at night and was a lovely spot for a beer and some lunch. Great communication from Jessie, with very clear directions, and each site is clearly marked. Would recommend.

Salt & Ember, was a wonderful stay for us.
We got to watch a possum climb up a tree two foot in front of us. Also star gazing is a must.
Located next to the Thorny Devil brewery (check opening hours).
Just a short walk further down the road are the Thrombolites. Where we enjoyed sitting on the jetty for a front row view of the sunsetting over the water.
A 20 minute walk on the trail hidden in the bushes you’ll come face to face with one of the famous wooden giants.
Was just what we needed for a quick one night stay.
