This campsite has access to a beautiful toilet/hot shower and drinking water supply in the workshop. There is also an outdoor shower in a water tank surround and an outside bath heated by a fire. Small camp kitchen with coffee machine, fridge, sink and bench also in the workshop. Large outdoor movie screen, we generally screen family movies on Saturday night among the gum trees and strings of lighting. Please enquire if you are interested. Campfires and bonfires permitted in winter. No fire from October to May. While you're here check out the Greenough walk and cycle track that follows the river. It's only 3km to the beach, and you can walk or take your bike there (bike hire is available in town). We have canoes. Greenough Settlement/café and Wild Life Park close by. Pets welcome on a lead. Off lead welcome after we had met and chatted. Dogs are a danger to all horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens. Off lead without consultation will not be tolerated. Please enter Devlin Pool Rd at the Northern end where it meets Jandanol Rd. We are the 3rd driveway.

Quobba is a family operated, working pastoral station that borders 80km of Western Australia's spectacular coastline. The 187 000 acre station was established in 1898 and is bounded by Gnarloo Station to the North, Lake McLeod and Boolathana Station to the East/South and the Indian Ocean to the West. The Meecham’s have been on Quobba Station for over 40 years, with Tim, Sara and family here for over 22 years. The Station runs approximately 10 000 damaras (South African meat sheep) after originally running merino (wooly) sheep. All campsites have access to: - Fresh water (top up supplies only. Please bring sufficient water for your stay) - Camp Kitchen (fridge, sink, Gas BBQ) - Washing machine (takes 3x $2 coins) - Common ablution block (flushing toilets and solar hot, bore water showers) - Long drop toilets - Daily rubbish collection (please bag your rubbish before putting in bins) - Fire pits (fire wood sold in store, wood collection on Quobba NOT permitted. If you would like to have your own fire, it must be contained in your own fire pit. No ash/coals to be left on site.) - Tennis court Pets are welcome however they must remain on a lead at all times. 1080 baits are used on the station. *This is remote camping on a station, please come prepared!* While the Front Beach is perfect for walking along, collecting shells and watching the sunset, the beach itself goes straight to reef and is not suitable for swimming. The closest swimming/snorkelling locations are The Blowholes Beach (10km South) and 2 Mile (3km North). *Please note: NO fishing/spearing is allowed on the Front Beach! Quobba is home to incredible marine, bird and wildlife including (but definitely not limited to): Leatherback turtles; snorkel with the turtles all year round, watch them lay their eggs on the numerous beaches (~October - December) and enjoy seeing the baby hatchlings make their way back into the Indian Ocean (~January - February). If you're tired of crowded campsites with people making noise half the night, then Nambung Station is for you. A very rural campsite on a working farm, you will definitely have a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle. Shower, toilet, washing, and kitchen facilities are not luxurious, but certainly acceptable. The site managers are super friendly and extremely helpful if you need any assistance. We did the morning Pinnacles tour that they offered and it was amazing: emus, kangaroos, and of course, pinnacles up close and personal. We really enjoyed our stay and we're very happy that we booked it.

We loved our stay at Nambung Station. It was so peaceful and bottle feeding the calf was fun. The bathrooms are clean, and the camp kitchen looks good, but we didn’t use it. It’s great to have a buggy tour of the Painted Desert as an option too. We were also able to pay a small fee and hook up to Starlink for amazingly fast wifi, even though our Telstra data was still fine.

Dongara Bush Camp was a fantastic place to base ourselves for the Dongara area. Although the Coastal conditions were hot and windy, the DBC site was sheltered and shaded. It was a short 5 minute drive to the beach and shops but it was always great to return to the peaceful bush camp. Having a super clean flushing toilet and delicious rainwater was a great bonus. We enjoyed the spacious camp kitchen which was full of character and provided a comfortable place to relax and share a meal. We came for one night and stayed for three, we could not recommend this place highly enough.

We really enjoyed the relaxed, secluded powered site beneath a huge shady tree, and our dog was very reluctant to leave after a two night stay. Animals, bikes, canoes, walking and swimming. This property features paddocks with shady trees. Situated close to the river. The beach is a short drive away. Horses and small animal experience available, ask on arrival. I recommend booking a walk with the horses the river for an hour. This campsite has access to a beautiful toilet/hot shower and drinking water supply in the workshop. There is also an outdoor shower in a water tank surround and an outside bath heated by a fire. Small camp kitchen with coffee machine, fridge, sink and bench also in the workshop. Large outdoor movie screen, we generally screen family movies on Saturday night among the gum trees and strings of lighting. Please enquire if you are interested. Campfires and bonfires permitted in winter. No fire from October to May. While you're here check out the Greenough walk and cycle track that follows the river. It's only 3km to the beach, and you can walk or take your bike there (bike hire is available in town). We have canoes. Greenough Settlement/café and Wild Life Park close by. Pets welcome on a lead. Off lead welcome after we had met and chatted. Dogs are a danger to all horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens. Off lead without consultation will not be tolerated. Please enter Devlin Pool Rd at the Northern end where it meets Jandanol Rd. We are the 3rd driveway.
