We are a park with many levels of camping , caravanning and accommodation. We are in the heart of one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the state, being approximately 700 metres from the post office and one kilometre from the iconic Busselton Jetty and underwater observatory. Many travellers will base themselves here in Busselton and venture off to explore the southwest, using Busselton as their base, as we have all the facilities you could possibly need from a country town. The southwest is renowned for being a clean and green area with pristine beaches. We have north facing bays that are great for calm oceans, whilst also having south and west facing bays that provide world class surf. The opportunities here are far too endless to list, from whale watching, diving, trecking, great wine region, amazing cuisine and much much more.

Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. My friends and I all had a wonderful time, the location was gorgeous with absolutely everything you could need already provided by Vivien. Beautiful scenery, a lovely mob of dorpers in the paddock and enough firewood to keep us warm all night. A beautiful place to stay, I can’t wait to come back again

My group of 16, 30 year olds had an unreal get together over 2 nights here! The scenery and space you are given at the stay would be very hard to beat! The shed is huge so easily accommodated all of us with a fee extra swags around the place. Vivien supply's wood too for the outside and inside fires which was needed as winter in donneybrook is quite cold during the evenings. We will 100% be back!

Highly recommended Vivian's property. We had an amazing stay for 3 nights. We were self sufficient in our caravans but the shed has everything you need , huge kitchen, lounge areas and three separate bedrooms. Wood burners in the shed to keep warm on cold nights and a huge fireplace outside with wood supplied. Take a walk to the dam to see the ducks and sheep or just relax and enjoy the serenity. A must stay if in the area.

Nice perimeter walk for the dogs (on lead). Multitude of kangaroos, emus in border paddock. Friendly inquisitive chickens. A variety of native bird species viewed from verandah. Great canoe launching spot at Jalbaragup Bridge.

What a wonderful stay! I booked Something Different for my 30th. There were 17 of us, some of us in swags. Everything was perfect. Kitchen very well stocked, so many games and activities to do and the dam was such a great place for a dip. Vivien checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed, which was lovely. Will definitely be back. My friends are already asking about booking it themselves!

Something Different was the perfect location for our group's weekend retreat. All the facilities we could need, and plenty of space inside and outside. The big barbecue made catering for our group a breeze. We enjoyed swimming in the dam and playing table tennis and board games. Our group was a bit bigger than the maximum listed number, but Vivien was happy for us to pitch a few tents outside. There's definitely enough space for a large group. The price is extremely good value for such a well equipped venue. I would absolutely recommend Something Different to anyone looking to host a getaway for a large group.

Absolutely loved our time at the Something Different shed. My friend and our collective three dogs (two border collies, one aussie shepherd puppy) had a blast kayaking on the dam, exploring the shed paddock, and playing with the resident kelpie pup Alfie. Shed is huge, beds are super comfortable, kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you'd like - we've already booked to come back in winter!

Fantastic spot for camping with the option of using the beds makes it a really versatile place! Swimming in the lake was wonderful and secure for dogs was great. Highly recommend this place, can't wait to come back in winter and the fires going with a bottle of red wine!

Mary was lovely and provided info on local dining establishments but also responded quickly and provided items that we forgot.
