Toolibut Bush Camp is a secluded, tranquil 68 acre bush block set back one kilometre from Borden-Bremer Bay Road, 32 kilometres from Bremer Bay, Western Australia. You can choose either a secluded area to camp where you can surround yourself with natural bush, Yates, and Toolibut trees or a more wide open space where two or three caravans traveling together can park with plenty of room. There are walk trails to explore that meander through the bush, wetlands and paperbark thickets. Keep a lookout for kangaroos and bird life. For the 4x4 enthusiast, the 9 km track to Reef Beach is a challenge that will reward you with beach fishing and sand dunes to explore. If you prefer, you can set up camp near the camp kitchen. This area is ideal for group bookings as well as individuals. The camp kitchen is basic with a BBQ, bar, fridge and a sink with running untreated rain water. A clean toilet is also provided but no shower. It is recommended that you are self-contained as the camp kitchen has no water or power outlets, (hookups) for caravans or RV's. No generators please. Campfire in the communal firepit area is welcome except during a fire ban. Firewood and kindling are provided for your convenience. While sitting around the fire, you can see the stars and listen to the night sounds. Don't forget the marshmallows. We are a dog friendly camp-site but please keep your pets on a leash. If you wish to take your dog off the lead for a run, there is a designated off leash area in the top paddock. You may even see our family of kangaroos on your walk. Toolibut is an ideal place to park up and explore the surrounding area. Bremer Bay has excellent beaches, whale tours and the world renowned Fitzgerald River National Park with its unique wildflowers and viewing platforms for whale watching.

The Meadow
A lovely meadow of grass, approximately 10 acres is size with reasonably flat areas to camp.

Ideal for large groups of people with caravans, camper trailers, and tents or on your own away from everything.

There are no amenities in this area. Best for campers who are self-contained.

Fantastic bush camp; lovely host and the site was so private! We stopped for 1 night on our way to Esperance but could definitely have stayed longer.

Toolibut Grove, a more secluded area to unwind away from the camp kitchen. Suitable for tents, rooftop tents, camper trailers and small campervans.

I loved camping at Toolibut Beach Grove! Lynda and Kevin were so friendly and were really easy-going as some friends were arriving as well and camping in my spot. The camping spot was very big and more than enough space. We had a BBQ and we loved the surrounding! Good communication, would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Toolibut! Kevin and Lynda were so welcoming and nothing was a bother. When we arrived they offered us to stay at a different site to the one we booked and they felt it was nicer. We ended up staying in the meadow and it was so peaceful, lots of bird life and wide open spaces, perfect! Will definitely be back!

Hosts incredibly welcoming and friendly, fantastic off-grid site with a small amount of signal if required near camp kitchen. Kangaroos often seen at the back paddock in the early morning, walking trails just off camp. Clean kitchen and restrooms. Perfect to disconnect from a digital world.

I already left a review but we stayed at Toolibut again on our way back from Esperance and it was so lovely again, so wanted to write another review :) . Lynda and Kevin really are the sweetest and most welcoming people who make you feel right at home, and so it felt great to come back to the campsite after a long way of driving. The campsite itself is amazing as well: apart from the well maintained toilets, shower and pathways, the campground itself is just beautiful and we loved taking walks around the property. Toolibut is our favourite campsite in Australia yet (and we have seen a few), and if we are ever back in Western Australia we will definitely come back here. In short, would 1000% recommend!

Kevin and Linda’s place is a fantastic find! There’s plenty of space, and the facilities are top-notch. The bonfire was a definite highlight of our stay. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Fantastic spot for us to stop over at on our way down to Esperance and would be a great spot for those looking to do a Whale tour out of Bremer Bay. Well looked after kitchen/bathroom area with toilet, shower and wash facilities plus access to a kettle and power points if you have your own appliances. Greeted on arrival and showed where things are and camp rules. Would definitely reccomend, plenty of space on the property to camp up.

Toolibut was a great bush camp! Camp sites are large and very spaced out so still feels like your on your own space of bush. Two well maintained flush toilets and 1 shower. Hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

The site is really nice, ground is soft so great for tent camping, it is also very spacious for any setup and the amenities there are really good. Lynda is really nice, easy to talk to and very approachable. My stay there went by with no issue and I would definitely stay again if I come back over to this area.
