Bolinda Vale Farm

Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926.

We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy.

A great property to reconnect with country 

Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. 

We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites.

Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites.

There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. 

Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. 

The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos

 

Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. 

You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water

We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. 

Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online.

ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm.
No entry for extra campers on day of arrival if not booked in as they will not be permitted to enter the property

Campfires permitted when local government restrictions aren't in place. PLEASE NOTE At times Bolinda Vale Farm management may reinforce their own fire restrictions, as we know the vegetation and lay of the land in the gully

Chittering Acres

We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon.The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

Serenity, Stars & Fresh Air

Camp on this 7.5 acres property in Woodridge Western Australia. A short drive to the Moore river, the beach or the  coastal town of Guilderton.Swimming pool on site which guests can use. Supervised swimming for children under age off 13yrs.Toilet and shower facilities, canoe hire, bike hire, amazing off road tracks to some great fishing spots. Local brewery opening December 2021 , local  restaurant opens all day 7 days a week, golf course and tennis courts.  Seabird Tavern a must visit.Stars at night are AMAZING.

25 acre bushland property set amongst Jarrah and Marri trees. Once logged for its timber in the 1960's by Wundowie Steel Foundry for it's steel mills and furnaces, there are still many tall/older trees as well as regrowth. We often  have Kangaroos, Wallabies, occasional Echidnas, Goannas, Lizards and many species of Birds. All live in the wild and there is no guarantee that we will see them

We grow wildflowers such as Proteas, Leucadendron , Leucospermum (pincushions),Banksias ,Eucalypt - Silver Dollar, and Cut Flowers - Osteospermum, Zinnia and Gladioli, Kangaroo Paw and Bromeliads. We also have our native species - Grass Trees, Zamia Palm

and Golden Wattle .We supply local Florists with much of our produce.

We also have fruit trees, chooks and a vegetable garden.

BUSH STAY ACCOMMODATION is available and we have Two cabins. The Music Room Cabin for two people, and the Olivia Cabin which will accommodate up to four people. Both have TV,DVD, aircon, fridge, toaster, kettle and cutlery, plates etc. 

We also have a large comfortable Tent to accommodate up to four people. Set up for the real bush experience. TV, DVD ,table and chairs .Beds and mattresses,sheets ,blankets, pillows, and doonas can be  provided or bring your own.

Hear all the sounds of the bush at night! Check out the stars planets and the moon. The sky is so clear out here.

Caravans are also welcome. One Powered site available.

A toilet, shower and Barbeque facilities are available and our Fire Pit is ok to use in Winter and share some toasted Marshmallows.

Local attractions include: Toodyay Emu Park, Archery Park, Avon Valley National Park and the Avon River, Paruna and Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuaries, Toodyay Townsite - Connors Mill,The Old Gaol and many other historical sites ,shops and restaurants. You can also visit the Swan Valley where there are many wineries ,pubs and restaurants.

We sell Wildflowers and wildflower arrangements and check out our handcrafted wooden boxes.

Raptor Retreat

Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. 

The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. 

The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. 

 The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce.

Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. 

Alternatively,  at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. 

Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire.
