A secluded get-away, Sea Mist is positioned at the end of The Great Ocean Road. Just a short walk from Logans Beach Whale Nursery and the picturesque Hopkins River. Close to enjoy a variety of water activites swimming, fishing, kayaking, surfing.
Logans Beach Day Spa and a female gym is 5 minute walk up the road from the property. Proudfoots, a historic restaurant, on the Hopkins River about a 15 minute stroll across the bridge and along the river walk past the boat moorings. They are well known for delicious food, great place to go for tea or weekend breakfast. There is also a walking /riding track and board walk promenade that will follows the foreshore and finishes at the Break Water passing the Warrnambool Surf Club, Lake Pertobe and some terrific restaurants, Simons and The Pavilion to note, which is a great place for breakfast or lunch.
The CBD is only 5 minutes drive from the property great variety of restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, boutiques and speciality shops as well as supermarkets and other large chain stores such as, Woolworths, Coles, Audi, K-Mart and Target.
Set on 2 acres, Sea Mist was purchased as a subdivision in 1998. The garden and house were also designed then and given council approval the following year. The extensive gardens incorporate both design ideas that Edna Walling used, and Bill Mollison and David Holgren developed with their Permaculture principals. The gardens were established over a number of years to follow, aiming to be as sustainable as possible.
Although the property has town water connected, for most of the year it runs totally on tank water. The wastewater is recycled and used on many of the gardens.
We have organic orchard and vegetable gardens that use companion planting and successive crop rotation.
Guests are free to spend time in the garden and pick some fruit and herbs for a snack to use in cooking a meal. Please be respectful and leave plenty for others to share.

Just over 5 acres of former dairy farm just outside Simpson, close to the Otway Gourmet trail, Great Ocean Rd, Otways National Park and more.
The Coradjil Bushland Reserve is across the road. Great regional towns such as Timboon, Port Campbell, Peterborough and more are all nearby.
If you want rural peace and great pastoral views, amazing sunsets and sunrises, and love bird-watching and nature-watching, this is a great place to stay.
There are currently 2 very curious and friendly dairy cows in the paddock where they are living their best life with treats and no demands on them except to allow pats occasionally!
We rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife and there are released kangaroos pottering around, so dogs are welcome but must be under control.
We are a sanctuary for all. No hunting parties.

Our property is located in Port Fairy, close to the highway and a short distance from the beach. You have access to the front area of the property where there is a private area for a small tent or a caravan/van.
Guests must be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
There is a fire pit available for use and firewood is available to purchase for an additional cost.
Maximum of two cars per booking to ensure you fit in the space comfortably.

Our home is 5 meters away and we have a horse and cows on the property. There is a large timber fence around the property, so it's very secure, should you wish to head out for day trips.

So peaceful and quiet. Had the place to ourselves which was a bonus. Hosts always very accommodating. Beautiful lawn area to camp on, ideal for our first little shakedown with our new van and our two little doggos. 5 mins to Koroit, 15 to Warrnambool, 25 to Pt Fairy…. Great location 👍

What a great camp. Rob ensures the grass is beautiful which is lovely for the kids to play on. There is shade and sun available for different setups. The camp is not far out of Warrnambool and 5 mins to Koroit which is an interesting little town.
The site is level and the setting is beautiful.

Superb location in the middle of nowhere, very friendly owners who make an effort to get to know their guests, very well-maintained grounds with the option of having a communal campfire.
No toilets or showers, which was specified in the advert, so it is more suitable for caravans.

This was our first time at Hampton Park and we definitely will return. We were fortunate to set up down the back on the left hand side and had a great little corner. We loved the lush green grass, overlooking the cow paddocks, the visits from the friendly birds, how close it was to Koroit for supplies, it was a short drive to Warrnambool for a shower at the aquatic centre ($2.50 per person) and a nice drive to Port Fairy for the day. Rob the owner made you feel welcome and the other campers come and go so they were no bother - we stayed 5 nights and could have easily stayed longer. You need to be self sufficient (which is fine for us) - overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend the hipcamp - for us the gardens were the best and a great spot to relax and read under one of the trees.

Rob and Julie’s directions were clear and helpful. It was easy to find a good site with a pleasant outlook, We camped overlooking the paddock and could watch the cows grazing.
