Lakeside Escape with Space for Caravans, Campers & Tents
Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!
There’s an abundance of birdlife, including cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, and tawny frogmouths. Kangaroos and echidnas often pay us a visit, too.
A grassed area with a fire pit is situated a few metres from the lake house, and firewood is available for purchase.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. A grassy dog enclosure is available for guests who wish to explore the area while leaving their pet in a safe space. If you would like to bring your pet, please add the pet fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process.
A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.
Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists.

Victoria is a lovely host. The campsite is peaceful site by the lake with your own ensuite. Such a peaceful environment as a base to go off touring and to chill. The fur babies and I were totally relaxed. A lovely environment to re-centre yourself before travelling again. Thank you Victoria for offering such a lovely experience.

Such a great site where you feel in the middle of nature but you're actually so close to home.
The gazebo, chairs and table are really good to have and mean you can pack even lighter!

Victoria is a very welcoming host. The Lake House is very well appointed and we loved sitting out under the stars in the evening. This was our first stay at a Hipcamp and it was definitely a wonderful introduction.

Beautiful property, access to the billabong is a little walk down the hill but not far. Great spot for large groups. Ground isnt very level for RTTs so bring something to help level if you need it. There was some old planks there for firewood that I used. When I booked it was forecast for 45 degrees so the owner agreed to refund one of the nights.

We had a wonderful weekend camping at Victoria's Lake House site. It's a beautiful property and the kitchen and bathroom amenities were well kept and so nice to have over our stay. Victoria's also a lovely host and is happy to offer recommendations for places to visit or activities in the area. Lastly, the birdsong in the morning is unreal! We'll certainly be back for another stay :)

The camp was in a very convenient location for our visit to the region and the hot shower and toilet were great. The grassy area in front of the lake house was lovely. Had an amazing two night stay with family. Victoria and her two pets Flocky and Mouse were amazing- our kids enjoyed a lot. Definitely recommend her place for her hospitality and comfortable stay. Our kids already miss their favourite pets, we may go back for a stay again.

This was such a charming little place to stop over, with well-kept facilities, hosted by the very friendly Victoria and her two adorable dogs. Our own pups loved the large expanse of walking and sniffing space around the property. It was a very interesting experience waking up to the sound of a thousand birds early in the morning, which ceased ever so quickly, almost as soon as they started, but it was otherwise was a quiet and restful place to put up a tent and tuck in for the night - or sit under her gazebo for a drink before :)

The campsite was good. Ground on a slight slope but enough flattish areas to pitch tents. Great set up with large Gazebo fitted out with lights, battery charger, projector screen, tables and chairs, BBQ. Great fire pits both big and small where we toasted marshmallows. Lovely billabong to sit by in the shade. The host Michael was fantastic with responding to messages and gave clear instructions to site. Close to Melbourne yet felt far away. Dog and kids had fun. Definitely recommend.
