Bayview Camp is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Jindivick. We are backed onto the Bunyip state forest and have direct access to many trails. At Bayview Camp you get the camping experience but have the creature comforts. Accomodation is school portable which is placed on the top of our property, Bayview Camp is also run as a business called Bayview Camp'n Horse Trails for horse enthusiasts, we have horse riding trails and horses facilities, access behind our stables. Great for hiking enthusiasts, some great trails including Labertouche Caves and Nangara Reserve. Trails can be found on the All Trails App. We have an abundance of Wildlife on our property including kookaburras, Wallabies and wombats just to name a few. Our residents are sheep, cows and horses. Your accomodation is nice and private as our house is down the bottom of our property but only a txt away if you're needing anything or have any questions. The old school portable sleeps 7 people. There is also room for larger groups if people are wanting to setup camp, there's a camp area with crushed rock ground and a firepit with a beautiful view of the forest. We can also accomodate for big groups and the parking area can fit camper vans and caravans with electrical hookups. Enjoy our beautiful sunsets and starry nights. Unwind by the camp fire (limited firewood provided) and soak in the serenity. OUR LOCATION Jindivick is a quiet scenic country town. Local townships include Neerim south and Drouin for your necessities. Things to Explore near by include: -Nangara Reserve (access from property) -Labertouche Caves (access from the property, walk to get there through the forest) -The Garden at Broughton Hall (5.5km) -Neerim South Brewery (8.5km) -Brandy creek Winery (11km) -Noojee Pub aswell as the Noojee Falls (18km) -Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort (40km) - Alpine Trout Farm - Little sherwood Petting Zoo -The Robinhood Inn (9.0km) On your stay you'll have the place to yourself and won't be bothered by other campers. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on leash and are not to go into the paddocks where our farm animals are. Hidden away in the valley the cabin offers a cosy and secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Sleeps 4 with a rustic queen bunk. Plenty of floor space for an extra mattress if required. There is an indoor wood fireplace, couch, camp toilet, handheld hot water shower. Rainwater tank and outdoor sink. BBQ provided, but for the ultimate off-grid experience why not fire up the vintage wood fired cast iron stove. Indoor or outdoor dining, designated fire pit and fire cooking items provided. Relax and enjoy a drink on the deck or explore the property and spot the abundant wildlife that we share the land with. 10 minutes drive into town for all your needs with the local IGA, but our recommendation is the local butcher and the award winning bakery! It’s a country town so not much open on Sundays - plan ahead.

Loved the location, so peaceful. We were camped with a small group and the falicities were great. When it poured we moved indoors with a lovely Coonara fire. Such a beautiful area. Loren was great.

Weekend Trip to R&R Off-Grid Cabin

Fantastic hosts and beautiful property. We had such a great time building fires, cooking and watching out for the abundant wildlife, which included wombats, goats, kangaroos, sheep and a lovely cow who came down to the fence every morning. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Really wonderful weekend escape. My partner and puppy and I enjoyed a farm stay here at Anne Maree's cute cabin. It had everything we needed and was easy to find, the farm grounds are huge and we couldn't even manage to walk the whole property! Friendly dogs on the farm that would visit us. The cabin it Esse was lovely and well presented, heating, comfy bed, kitchen with everything needed and am amazing bathroom with rain shower. The jacuzzi looked lovely but it was raining the entire stay, and it was not working anyway(the owner was extremely apologetic about this, and made up for it, by offering other alternatives and also made us home made scones, lamb shank soup and some other goodies, she didn't need to do this however Anne Maree was lovely and a proper host) this made us feel so comfortable and welcome and we already want to go back!! Hoping the rain is not there and the jacuzzi is fixed the next time we are there, Thankyou Ann Maree for a wonderful stay

Weekend Trip to Weemalah Cabin & Camping

Had the most serendipitous weekend at Anne-mare’s campsite, it exceeded already very high expectations. The creek is stunning, and so fun for swimming, paddling floating, jumping off the rocks and (attempted) fishing. The landscape is so beautiful, plenty of space for camping and so much to explore. We also booked the cabin which was beautiful and the jacuzzi looking out on to the fields was such a delight!! Anne-maree met us at the gate and was super lovely and comprehensive showing us around and being available if we needed. Would 100% go back here!!

Loved staying at the farm house. Anne-Maree and her husband were very helpful through our trip. The view to the cattle was beautiful, sunsets every evening - brilliant! Worth noting the spa didn't get as hot as we would have liked as there was no cover. The max temperature we could get it to was 35 degrees which is not that warm - but still beautiful. Loved how self sufficient the cabin was too!
