Welcome to the Olive Farm!
We are a working olive farm situated on the edge of the Otway Ranges, between Deans Marsh and Birregurra, 25 minutes to Lorne and the Great Ocean Road, and only a few kilometers from the famous Brae Restaurant.
We are in a beautiful part of the world, so please remember and take all your rubbish with you when you leave.
Dogs are welcome, but please be aware that we are full of kangaroos, sheep, and other wildlife, so they may need to be placed on a leash for the safety of fellow campers and wildlife.
Fires are permitted in fire pits, and wood is available to purchase on-site. during the cooler months. We have a fragile ecosystem here, so we ask not to bring in wood and to purchase it off the farm.
Olive oil is available, and table olives harvested this year are in brine, ready to jar up. The table olives we have are Kalamata, Spanish Queens, and Jumbo Kalamata.

550 acre property which has 3 different seasonal creeks flowing through it.
Six excellent hideaway Camping sites to choose from. Some close to the water.
Large sites which can handle 40 campers per site.
Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force.
A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas.
In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites.
You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage.
30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc.
5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith.

The campsite was good. Ground on a slight slope but enough flattish areas to pitch tents. Great set up with large Gazebo fitted out with lights, battery charger, projector screen, tables and chairs, BBQ. Great fire pits both big and small where we toasted marshmallows. Lovely billabong to sit by in the shade. The host Michael was fantastic with responding to messages and gave clear instructions to site. Close to Melbourne yet felt far away. Dog and kids had fun. Definitely recommend.

Troy was a fantastic host! The farm is perfect! It’s family friendly, the perfect mix of quiet and social. The toilets were clean and the kayaks/damn were an excellent addition to our stay. We loved it and will be back! And make sure you buy a bottle or oil :-) yum!!!

I had never stayed with a Hipcamp host before. Troy and his setup was fantastic !
Gave us directions upon arrival to many sites available . Then we could drive around to choose the best one suitable.
The sight is well marked and easy to find a spot. All had portable toilets nearby.
It has a dam for swimming with canoes that flows down like a creek to many sites . The shade of the trees was a welcoming relief.
Leaving early we watched kangaroos hop through the olive plantation , just a great spot !!
I will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful family Christmas at Olive Tree Farm. Plenty of room for our five families at a very reasonable cost. Troy was easy to communicate with and the sites and toilets very clean. Birds, bush, lake and olive trees make this a beautiful, peaceful stay.
Just be aware no fires after mid December until risk of fire danger eases.

This was our second 🦊 Camp for our end of year celebrations at this spot.
Great choicec once again. Secluded, quiet, well set out campsite to be able support a group of young guys have a great time to blow off a little steam at the end of a very busy year.
BBQ'ing, swimming in the fantastic billabong, camp fires, beer, whiskey, music, impromptu cricket match and lots of laughs were had by all.
Thanks once again to our host Michael for allowing us to utilise his property once again.
