This was our first ever Hipcamp stay and it was the perfect experience. The property is absolutely stunning. The camp site was very flat with lovely green grass and surrounds, a creek, a swing, a large picnic table, fire pit and dog friendly. Kathryn is a gorgeous human - so kind, warm and friendly. She told us everything we needed to know, provided fire wood with fire lighters and matches, as well as delivered a warm jar of homemade jam that made Sunday breakfast extra special. We didn’t want to leave and my boys are already asking when we can go back. Thank you so much for having us Kathryn and Alex and for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

Kath and Alex have created a truly wonderful site. We loved our 2 night camp. Super peaceful and private, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves across the road. Enough room for the dog and toddler to have a good play and we loved walking through and picking the last of the berries! Kath and Alex were lovely and really accommodating. They’ve taken great care an ensured there’s really easy access to the beach too.
We’re already planning to come back with friends!

We had a wonderful stay with Kath & Alex – one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Beforehand, we received detailed information, which made it easy to find the farm without any trouble. Kath welcomed us with a jar of homemade jam (so delicious and perfect for breakfast the next morning) and showed us our camping spot.
The paddock is very spacious and set in a beautifully peaceful natural environment. Our kids absolutely loved the swing and the small adventure trail down to the beach. In the evening, we were able to use the cosy fire pit and picnic area for dinner.
The next day there were no new guests arriving, so we were able to stay longer and enjoy a relaxed start to the day. We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately we already had another place booked that we couldn’t cancel.
We can highly recommend Woodleigh – the perfect place to stay on Bruny Island – and we’re very grateful for the lovely time we spent there.

This is the most magical, immaculate and spacious campsite! We picked berries every morning. Private access to the beach made regular trips so easy and enjoyable. The kids loved playing on the swing, exploring the creek and playing running games on the grass. We had a camp fire every night and sat on the large picnic table to enjoy dinner as a family. On our last night we experienced the most magical Aurora surrounding Two Oaks. Kath and Alex are such thoughtful and kind hosts!

What a magical spot and lovely animals galore-both 2 and 4 legged ones. Peta and Rory have a lovely farm/camp in an idyllic mountain spot, with friendly farm animals, birds galore and nightly woodland creatures. The hosts are outgoing, friendly and energetic, making us instantly feel at home. The welcome included Peta's guided drive up the mountain, with amazing views of the valley. We feel honored to have shared this space with such inspiring people. Peta and Rory, we wish you every success with your plans and hope to return to visit soon! We loved camping in Woodleigh, enjoying the serenity of the bush with easy access to the beach. The dogs loved the lush green grass and we definitely ate our fill of berries! Even though we didn’t get to meet Kathryn, she communicated everything excellently beforehand and her son Peter was a gracious host. Recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Kathryn and Alex’s place. Their berry farm is immaculate, a true credit to them both. The site we stayed at was so private and quiet. It was very generous, with a beautiful hand sawn picnic table and fire pit with seating. The visiting pademelons kept us entertained and the beautiful fresh water stream sent us off into a deep sleep each night.

From the moment we arrived at the Woodley property in Adventure Bay, we felt welcome. We were greeted by a beautiful, peaceful setting and two genuinely warm hosts — Alex and Kathyrn. The property is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach, yet feels wonderfully secluded, surrounded by native bushland.
Woodley is clearly a labour of love. The berry and fruit orchards are stunning and carefully maintained, with Kathyrn, Alex and their father Lee regularly working around the property. We loved that they generously shared some of the harvest with guests, which added a personal and memorable touch to our stay.
There are two excellent campsites, both very flat, well protected from the elements, and thoughtfully spaced so campers can enjoy privacy and quiet. Firewood is available to purchase, and the fireplace and table made evenings around the fire easy and comfortable.
Alex and Kathyrn were gracious and attentive hosts, offering local knowledge, stories, and a genuine sense of care without ever being intrusive. The campsite is close to everything — you can walk into Adventure Bay for a coffee, and it’s only a short drive to beaches, walks, and local attractions.
We spent a full week here with the family and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to the beach made it an ideal place to slow down and reconnect with nature. We highly recommend Woodley to anyone travelling with a campervan or tent. Thank you,
