Weekend Trip to Cluny Lagoon

Very nice place to unwind and relax we had it all to ourselves by booking all the 3 sites but this Hipcamp would be fine to share as there is plenty of room and the camp sites are separated by a group of trees. There are pizza ovens near the yurt that we used to make some pizzas and the weather was great. If you wake up early enough you get some lovely photos of the glassy river and surrounding hills. Very much recommend this Hipcamp.

We enjoyed another perfect little getaway on Karyn's property. The peaceful atmosphere is perfect to relax and unwind from the daily grind. We were lucky enough to be visited by the resident sea eagles and also had a friendly turkey pop in for a visit.

What a view!!! Absolutely loved our stay. The loogoon was like a sheet of glass almost everyday. There was morning frosts and fog, but this added to the experience, and we did camp at the back of winter. The only thing I would strongly recommend is that if your towing, make sure you have a 4x4.

The most surreal site! Directions were perfect and easy to follow, the site was incredible! The view from the river was unreal and the sunrise, we’ve never seen anything like it! We were lucky to be the only campers on site. Would recommend and the access / site was perfect for our van!

Just had a long weekend at Cluny Lagoon. If you like bush settings, peace and tranquillity this is the place for you. About an hours drive North of Hobart and roughly 15 minutes outside Ouse. There's a flat camping area by the water, plenty of room for our 22ft Snowy. We will definitely be returning here.

We enjoyed a peaceful night at Cluny and were lucky enough to have the whole location to ourselves. The highlight for us was to receive a visit from 3 lovely cows, who were very inquisitive but didn’t stick around. Can’t wait to visit again with the family, would be a great place for the kids.
