Nearby is a small pond, and bit further (not on the block) a river where you can fish. Enjoy the beautiful colonial feel of the grassy paddock with golden sun rays over Ben Lomand plateau.

This site was amazing, gravel driveway and pad to set the van up on. Beautiful views and amazing sunsets, kids loved playing soccer in the paddock! Melinda was an excellent host, very responsive and easy to deal with. The site was a nice fit for our large 9m Ofroad van, simply reverse up the driveway to make setup easier. We would love to come back and visit one day!

Weekend Trip to Mangana Land camping

A nice spot to camp within a fenced area not too far off the road, got a nice view of the distant hills , some cars passing on road nearby but pretty quiet spot to camp for the night, some nice bird life around including some rosellas pirching in the trees. Host was great help to allow me to access into the property.

Almost didn't want to write this review as this place is too good and I'd rather keep it a secret! But in the spirit of fairness (and because the host absolutely deserves the praise), here it is: the land is stunning, the campsites are spacious and well thought-out, and I found Hamish to be super helpful, friendly, and laidback in the best way. One of those rare spots you stumble on and immediately want to return to, which is exactly what we did by extending our stay an extra night. Will definitely be back (if it's not completely booked out by that point!).

We stayed for three nights in the bush camp. The forest is an apt description for this Hipcamp? Hamish is a perfect host. He had cleared some of the virgin scrub amongst the tall timbers. So that we could set up our camp. My 25 foot motorhome had no problem with the terrain Hamish had already provisioned our fireplace with plenty of timber We love this Hipcamp and look forward to coming back Thank you very much, Hamish Cheers, John and Judy

If you are into bush camping then this is a great place to spend some time. At the moment there’s only 1 suitable spot for a caravan and it’s well worth it. Great hosts with a warm helpful welcoming. Plenty of wildlife and snakes as expected at this time of year but no bother as Hamish had a nice large area well cleared. Sheltered all round from the high winds we had. Highly recommended.
